Kaname, the full metal alchemist you watched was it brotherhood? (or both)

The Sacred Blacksmith. I got a DVD in some game magazine, watched it (had to waste DVD region switches to set to EU then back to US), and it was pretty good. I ordered the whole series and I really liked it. It's got a LOT of humor scenes in it, but the story is really nice.

Nyan Koi!, Shuffle!, Nichijou, AirTV, and Mahou Shojou Madoka Magica.

So! You want shoujo animes to cry to, eh? Well, I have two words for you, sir:

Gunslinger. Girl.

You will bawl your fucking eyes out. I GUARANTEE IT. I can't even make it through the opening.

If you like Tsubasa, you must see Card Captor Sakura, xxxHolic and Kobato.

If you want action, I recommend Fate/Zero, one of my favourite animes. If you want laugh, Arakawa Under The Bridge and Durarara!!!

Nodame Cantabile, Honey and Clover, Darker than Black, Speed Grapher and Trigun. You will enjoy them.

Ghost in the Shell, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun, or Ano Natsu de Matteru.

I would highly recommend Kare Kano (His and Her Circumstances). It's a shoujo love comedy made by Gainax which is reason enough alone to watch it. The only bad thing about the series is the TERRIBLE ending it had that was literally just another episode almost. Other then that though, It's a good watch.

Watch Clannad and Clannad: After Story and as the guy above mentioned Trigun, it's one of the best animes ever made (prove me wrong)

If you want gore in the cartoon u have to watch Elfen Lied and Highschool of the Dead especially elfen will screw ur brain out with its superb storyline

Gantz, Great Teacher Onizuka, Stein's Gate, Inazuma Eleven, Deadman Wonderland are all some of my favorites. Also my girlfriend and I watched through all of Black Butler and loved it [BOTH SEASONS]
