what is the status of this add-on

Hello , when i write steamgift in google, thereis a add-on called auto-join that pops up; I was wondering if its accepted and doesnt cause additionnal work for servers.It requires using google chrome.

So far as I know there is no rule against using an autojoin script. However a solid majority of the community frowns upon it, and you may find yourself blacklisted by many giveaway creators if you're suspected of using one.
