Then, maybe you could grab HB RPG bundle?
For $1, giving away the games from the first tier would get you to level 1.
The person below has linked the FAQ, you might want to read it to know how contributor value (cv) works and how much cv you need to gain levels.

You're welcome, MP.
Dunno if you've checked the FAQ yet, but here's the amount of cv you need to get to level 2:
Level 1: $0.01 - $25
Level 2: $25 - $50
I pointed you to the Humble RPG Bundle because the games are good ones, plus the second tier is rather cheap and it would gives you about 17-18 cv. Which isn't that far from lvl 2.

the basic is said above, make giveaways that are not given away before

It's not time to make a thread,
Just relax, take it easy
You're still lv0, that's your fault,
There's so much you have to know
Find a bundle, make a gib,
If you want you can join a group
Look at me, I am only lv5, but I'm happy.
I was once like you are now
And I know that it's not easy
To be calm when you've found
Skyrim for lvl8
But take your time, give a lot
Give away every game you've got
For you will still be here tomorrow
But your lv0 may be not

Wonderful indeed, thanksies, mate! You've made my day!

that's your fault
Eh. That choice of phrasing comes across as needlessly rude, and is also logically inaccurate.
Regardless of whether it's "fault" or simply "responsibility", logically such would fall fully on whomever set that as the default state, which would be cg. [If you're having trouble with the logic, consider children. The responsibility for their birth is entirely on their parents, they have no responsibility over such. As with that example, "It's your fault for being born" is just.. not exactly an okay way to address the matter, for multiple reasons. Though, certainly, this isn't remotely near as harsh a context for it.]
Assuming it was just a phrasing error, a possible option for approaching the likely intent would be: "that's your prerogative to retain". Alternatively "and I pity the fool who accepts this as a steadfast rule". ..no? Well, then I guess you could simply correct the word at fault [heh] and change it to "that's your choice". Y'know, if you want to be boring about it. >.>

Man I just mostly preserved the original lyrics so that one could understand which song it is (Father and Son by Cat Stevens) ^^;
I agree it might come off as rude under a certain light, if you look at the original verse tho it was "you're still young, that's your fault", which obviously didn't mean that you didn't do enough and thus remained young, but that being young it's the source of your restleness.

as others already mentioned, you need to create a giveaway for a never given for free before game. but you also need at least 5 entries.
so if you create a giveaway, let us know and we will help you to get the entries you need^^

For someone with 450+ games on Steam account, begging on SteamGifts doesn't make sense

There's a difference between begging and asking for help.

I think there was an user who used to help this way. Many people does level 0 giveaways. Keep trying. Good luck.

Reading is a good way to learn things...
Maybe you should read the section "Contributor Value and Levels" in the FAQ.
And buying bundles is often a good way to have games for you at a cheap price and also games in excess to make giveaways.
These sites list the bundles of the other shops:

Thanks everyone and not begging just trying to figure things out

I said "edit the main post", because they made a comment that could potentially have been intended as an edit to the main thread.
I'm uncertain how that could be interpreted as a request to close the thread- nevermind that I'm confused as to why you'd think I'd be vague on something like that. Have you.. ever known me to intentionally be vague on things? :P

Here's a great place to start if you're looking for reasonably priced games for giveaways --Master List of Ongoing Bundles. Most other questions can easily be answered by clicking the Help button located at the top of the page.
It's nice that you're interested in making some giveaways to level up. Best of luck and (though it appears you've been here a year) welcome to the community. :)

Cool, you found the thread. For some reason I thought It was Star White who create It.

You are doing a public giveaway, everyone will see it and generally not done or needed to post them here on the forum.
If you are giving 1p/$1 games it will take you a very long time to level up, as others suggested $1 for a humble bundle will get you to things faster.

I guess Keksi inspired him to post it here.

Maybe he doesn't know the difference between invite only and public gibs. ;)

Oops, you're right. I'm so awfully ignorant it seems. At least I should have visited her profile before assuming any gender. And it's funny that you caught me now despite me being very attentive in that regard normally. :D
Hey at least she's on the right track and needed only a gentle push in the proper direction!

Your Steam account has been compromised and I've reported it but you also need to contact Steam Support: "Thanks! We use these reports to assist in the account recovery process, but your friend still needs to contact Steam Support. If you are able to get in touch with them, please direct them to Steam Support."

Yeah I am working on it I clicked on a bad free game link I dont know how to get ahold of my other friends to let them know to not click that link

So if you got a weird link I'm sorry and I hope you didn't click it if you did change your password i dont want the same thing that happened to me to happen to you I got everything fixed on my end though I hope things are okay on yours I'm just glad I was able to get my account back. So I guess that's what I get for falling for something that sounded too good to be true but it was a message from a friend on my list that evidently got compromised as well. I hope that maybe my mistake helps my friends so they don't get their accounts compromised too.

Glad you got your account back. When I got the message with the suspicious link I didn't know it was you since it said it wasn't someone on my friend list and I didn't recognized either the avatar or the name. Anyways had blocked and reported the account, just unblocked you, so if you want too, you're welcome to add me back:)
