I recommend SCP-087-B, but good luck finding it. It seems to have been completely removed from the internet, so I've had to email the zip folder to my friends who wanted to play it xD
I suppose I could email it to you as well if you're interested. I don't think my copy is the latest update, but its still scary as hell. I can't even play it anymore, I'm too scared :c

Could you email me 087-B? I've got a friend who can't stop playing scary games and he needs to be set back on track haha.
Guess you can reach me through my profile (follow the website, quote, and just upload the file. You don't need any other info). Thanks a lot.

I'd love to, however I don't have your email xD
I went to the website on your Steam profile, and the contact me button didn't provide an email address, and of course I can't put attachments into it. . . I'll add you on Steam, and if you still want me to email it to you just message me your email address, don't worry about me spamming you or anything, my email just collects dust from never being used :S

You sure you played all Frictional's games? 'cause one of them is lost (called Energeetic, not a horror one though). My point is, you MIGHT have overlooked their free game called Fiend. Looks pretty ridicoulous with its primitive graphics, but if you know Frictional for something it's that they are goddamn freaks when it comes to horror, so granted, I jumped about a meter when shit got real at the beginning. Never could finish it though, but give it a try.

I can't play that, those plants are way too scary for me

The Suffering was pretty spooky but i think it was only on PS2 but there might be an emulator out there. but for a classic/funny/horror game theres the Evil Dead games.

If you have access to Source SDK Base 2007, then I would recommend Nightmare House 2. A great mod that was really well made! If you happen to have GoldSrc game such as the original Half Life or Counter Strike, you could try Cry of Fear. And it also has 4 player co-op.

There is an old series called "Clock Tower". It's very nice because the killer appears at random times, specially if you stay in the same place too long. You just have to run and hide. Search on You Tube.
Other than that, the only game the I found scary was Silent Hill. By the way, Silent Hill was inspired by Clock Tower, you can even find some references in game.

The scissors...oh god the scissors! I do agree though, this is a classic horror series. Make sure to get the first one that came to America, and not the SNES port to PSX named The First Fear (Japan release only).

Read about half the comments, so I'm not sure this was mentioned, but I heard Cryostatis is a bit of a horror game akin to Frictional Games' stuff (in the first person, limited weapons usage). I've got it sitting in my account, but haven't played it since I hate horror games (bought if for myself as a dare).

My girlfriend used to play Fatal Frame on the PS2. Is there anything similar on PC?

If you've got a PS2, there's Project Something on there, and it requires you to take pictures of the ghosts (pretty good workaround to the whole RUNRUNRUNHAAAALP routine).
But seeing you're not in the least bit intimated by those games (and I have to ask why are you playing them if you're not scared? out of pure curiosity), try to grab SCP-087, the video game. It's free and unfortunately a lot of releases are filled with viruses, but I'm sure one or two legit sources have it (you might wanna check out the SCP website). Also, don't look for videos about it, or it won't work as intended.

And woohoo, Project Something is also Fatal Frame and along with SCP 087 they've both been suggested already.

Metroid Fusion
No, really.
Y'know how the "metroidvania" genre usually works? Like, you explore this non-linear world, and you gain powerups that let you see more and more of it?
Well, take that concept, but put it into a space station, where things seem fine at the beginning...but as you try to solve an unnerving mystery surrounding the place, it gradually crumbles into chaotic ruins and aliens of all sorts wreak havoc.
And you're being stalked. By something you are powerless against, something that knows your weakness and exploits it with ease.
And the soundtrack really matches very well those feelings of abandonment and increasing chaos.

Cry of Fear! Its a valve-produced half life 1 mod. Its pretty excellent with the co-ops!

Demon asked for a movie, I'm asking for a game.
I've played all of Frictional Games' stuff, all Fear titles, all Silent Hill games, basically everything good and I've ran out. I might even broadcast it tonight if I find a good one.
Also don't say Fatal Frame, I have it on my PC and I'm 10% in and I am not doing any more of that, god
