What is the worst attitude that a certain SG user has shown to you? [Mandatory GA Inside]

Ok, if we are to exclude scam attemps, that's not much... maybe a guy who called me retarded on the forums.

I had a winner of one of my giveaways tell me the game was a piece of garbage they only planned to idle it for cards. to be fair the game was a piece of garbage, but it was still rude to say that

I never really had to many problems with people on sg. I have blacklisted people for not commenting on some of my giveaways (group, private, high level and whitelist) which I requested. I have always felt for those giveaways everyone should be leaving a comment since you usually have a lot better chances at winning than main public giveaways. I won't deny them the gift if they win though since I will always follow through with my giveaways.

Also looks like I'm blacklisted by you. No worries though.

The superiority of certain people that has given 100+ games. There are a few of them that BL you for saying a word they don't like/agree or for having something weird in your account.
Creating GAs makes you a good person, not a god.

The beggars adding me on Steam and expecting free games.

I was super-excited about a Medieval 2: total war giveaway
made a comment how I reminsced on the good times I had with my friends with this game, playing it all weekend day through night.

Nothing directed at me that particularly upset me. There was one who left me fake negative feedback insulting me, but it was kind laughable. There was a beggar asking me for games but that was just fun. Can't really remember anything else. I'm a bit annoyed when winners don't thank, but not really much.
EDIT: oh, I forgot (bird-brain ^^"), I was badly disappointed and offended when somebody regifted my game. It was the first time it happened, at least when I noticed it right away and it was kinda a shock. I knew about regifters but it was the first time happening to me. It wasn't just a bundle game, but it still hurt.

For me that was multiple people joining all the steam group i was in, just to increase their chance to enter one of my semi private GA. And it actually worked because i was aware of this when i checked the winner's steam profiles.
I gave all the key ofc, though I blacklisted them.
I was really mad, but then i realized nothing was forbidding it. It was not a good spirit according to me :p
So i closed my public groups, tried to clean them, and eventually just made public GA or very private GA (for group with invite only).

But i think it's very personal: for instance i don't care if people enter for cards. I'm crafting badges myself. I just try not to enter a "big" GA if I don't want to play it. But i don't check if people activate the game or play it.

Question : how do you know someone's blacklisting you ?

I think this takes the prize as the worst attitude I have come across:

Although this might be nothing compared to incidents described here, there was that one user who left me -rep simply because his generic thanks comment caused me to think he was an automated bot or something, and then ignored all attempts I made to resolve the situation on my end during my GA for 4 copies of Unhack, if that counts. And yes, that -rep is still there.

Some members of this community can be really cold. I keep two of them in my basement freezer.

Probably was not active enough yet to receive much bad attitude, the only thing i remember was winning a giveaway for a game and he sent a key for another game which was given for free.

One user showed racism not too long ago. If there's one thing I hate more than anything, it's racism. Where I grew up I was discriminated against and it really, really ticks me off. We need to show love and compassion to everyone, no matter the color of their skin. Period.

Not sending gift that I've won (I've won fake giveaway xD). That's all.

Its not directly related to this site, but I hate when Im giving last money I have to giveaway games, and some people join my group to enter giveaway and then leave it. I swear I feel like killing them :D

I haven't really any bad attitude. However, once while I was at my friend's, I got him to give away a cheap game, and the winner (who already owned it) stated that my friend "owes" him a game. Thankfully, the winner got rerolled.

So this guy walks into SG and he's all like "I lost levels! This site is scam! Gimme free games! Racist/Discriminative comment!". Except it's not just one guy, it's ten thousand guys. So the guys are doing the threads and the mod says "Hey, you're not allowed to do that!" except he's not really a mod, it's every sg user that uses the forums. So the guys get lot's of attention until a mod or support bans them. I forgot the punchline.

There's some people with an awful attitude in the forums, either it being enforcing their beliefs on you, racism, or the all high level superiority complex.
The good thing is that its easier to avoid them here then in real life.

As to people i had to deal with, nothing special as happened, there was this one dude that traded my game and several others, we had a conversation he treated me like i was an oblivious tool and tried to full me, and i was taking screenshots of the all conversation, including the part where he admits to have multiple accounts

There was also this one guy, who gave me a duplicate key, and ignores my attempts to contact him, i was new to the site and instead of marking it has not received i contacted indiegala, i barely had to explain the situation, those guys just sent me another key no questions asked, i will never do that again for anyone else.

and whoever gave me Fish Fillets 2, didn't actually gave me shit, i had i key lying around and activated the game. Again...i was new to the site and was trying to be nice

I've been fortunate to not have had a bad experience here. :)

Only once over a trade, but I don't even count that here. It was some time ago and really, it's as much my fault for being too trusting. Why am I like this? :)

I've seen and blacklisted a some nasty users, but none of the baf stuff was directed at me. The worst I had was a guy getting pissy at me for "annoying my audience" because my puzzle was too hard.

There was this guy that started insulting everything and everyone here in the forums, me included.

Well, at first I was actually trying to be polite, but I have a limit and started playing his game. Oh boy it was fun >:)
PS: It wasn't our loved mighty pirate, it was another guy. We all know the pirate story :P

I blacklisted someone that won't move on and harasses me in ways I can't even discuss in public for multiple reason. For some reason they think they are entitled to an explanation, but because of actions after blacklisting which showed more of the same and in some cases worse behavior, I have no desire for further communication.

I hope they can just leave it be and be done with it. :-/

I hate regifters so much..
almost as much as guys who try to trick the lvl system by giving away free games

bad behavior, mostly... my blacklist is full of them.
I just have one specific retarded that I blacklisted because he want my agreement with his nonsense for all costs.
