I played the demo too. I thought graphics are a little dated. Maybe it was because I had to disable post processing to avoid the black screen bug, but it's nothing that would spoil the game. I didn't think the game is all that revolutionary as it annouced itself to be. But overall, it's pretty fun. I'll probably get it when it's cheaper.

Tried the demo.
Gameplay - decent, but it seems a bit on the shallow side
Graphics - art style is a bit oveused, but good enough overrall
Controls - playable but clunky with mouse+kb, i guess fine with a pad
User Interface - quite bad and user-unfriendly
My recommendation? Not worth full price, wait for a sale

Sadly, that policy hasn't worked for me since Bioware and EA joined forces:/
<EDIT>But on the other hand, EA has produced some interesting series over past few years, like Dead Space or Mirror's Edge(still waiting for sequel!).

It sucks. It tries to combine many different elements but isn't any good at any of them, making the end result a potpourri of fail.
The transformations are out of place, the camera is horrible, the graphics suck, the combat is implemented extremely poorly, the world is a generic MMO-esque setting all the way down to how they've implemented their enemies and travel, the morality system is something a 2 year old would throw together (entire towns become enemies? story NPCs become immortal and yet attack you on sight or run?), the leveling/skill tree forces you to specialize before learning the benefits of those skills (should start at level 1) and the inventory is the most atrocious, unintuitive system I have ever encountered.
I love rpgs and was really hoping it would be great, but I was completely disappointed at every aspect I encountered.

I want this one to work so bad! Salvatore, McFarlane, Schilling, Big Huge Games, this game should be a fanboy wet dream, dammit! The demo did not scare me off, but it does have a console feel. I am hoping that the full game will fully realize the potential, and I will buy it solely to support the concept, but I hope it doesn't join my pile of 'things I bought as a statement even though they suck' pile. :)

From what I've heard, it's decent bar the controls. It is what Fable should have become, they say. And also, while it seems less sandbox(x)y than Skyrim, it offers deeper storyline. ...That's what I got from the TGS podcast. I shall give both games a play nevertheless once I'm done with assignments and shit.

Tried the demo and as mentioned several times, it feels rather similar, yet superior to Fable. I thought it was quite fun and will likely get it a few weeks after release. But also as mentioned, it does suffer from consolitis when it comes to mouse/kb controls and the interface, unfortunately. Playable and fun if it's your thing, but very rough around the edges.

Played the demo, felt like how the Fable franchise should have progressed after the first one honestly, I found the mouse/keyboard controls just fine, well better then Fable pc controls at least.
The game promises lots of content and a bigger world then Skyrim so it seems to be shaping up finem the demo was from an older beta so the full game should be running good.

I liked the demo, but given the interface, I'll probably get it on my PS3. Needs a good dusting off anyway.

It feels like Fable III with a better story and a better world to explore. However, it definitely feels like a console rpg, and the combat feels very simple. But maybe its better in the full, but I wasn't really impressed by the demo. Personally, I would wait to see reviews of the whole game, or wait until a sale.

I actually had no problems with the game. I enjoy the art style and how often it is used in other games doesn't effect my opinion of it. I played with a game pad, mouse+keyboard controls were terrible. I also didn't mind the menus, they seemed pretty standard to me. I've already purchased it since I enjoyed it and the story seemed interesting enough. To each their own.

Small disclaimer: I played this on PC with my Xbox 360 controller, so it's closer to a console experience.
It feels like a generic fantasy game in nearly every way to me. The characters, story, information on the world, and many other aspects just seem bland to me. Wait, this is a world with fairy-type creatures and human-like races that don't like/trust each other and are at war? Stop the presses! The fairies think of the humans as intruders and live in fantasy-looking buildings 'at one' with nature? So new! Everything the game does feels like it's done before but better with a few exceptions.
The gameplay is pretty good, but a bit clunky overall. I hated the camera. Responding honestly seemed like it was ripped straight from Mass Effect 2 with a tiny bit of Fallout 3 added in for the % chance persuassion attempts. The way the inventory is handled was pretty bad in my opinion. The game seems to really forces you to choose a single gameplay type early on and stick to it. Even though it forces you to keep your sword (so you can't use a staff and the magic projectiles at the same time).
I can kinda see the Fable comparison; but to be honest, I really don't think they're all that similar. Fable focused more on the individual character changing with their choices. Gameplay is somewhat similar, but that kinda returns me back to the fact the game really just feels like it's taking parts from other games.
That all said... I did have some fun. The starting part was pretty good. And it does seem like there's quite a bit to do. But I don't think it'll hold up as a good full release. The world, while big, feels pretty pointless for the most part. It just serves as something to pad out the time between destinations with a few enemy encounters that end quickly. The characters didn't really stick with me, and many felt like they were broad archtypes. The story might be better then what I played of it since I got distracted by the side-missions. But overall I think I'm going to wait till it's lower in price.
