According to the description on GMG, you just need to fire it up once. But Playfire seems to only sync your activity every 24 hours, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to confirm.

You need to link your account to playfire because playfire gets info on what games you play and how much time in total , and sometimes they reward you with gmg credit for playing a game for the first time ever or unlocking an achievement.

The voucher is linked to your account,so you'll need to give to a stranger your gmg account infos + the 95% off voucher ... i'd suggest you to wait some time or just try to clear your browser history + clear cache and retry ^^

Yes, you get a voucher (discount code) for use on GMG, that voucher drop the price of Bioshock Infinity to $1, you pay that with a credit card or paypal and get a STEAM KEY. Also aparently GMG give you $1 in GMG credit after you complete the transaction.
