*tranquilla, pls. Per dirti, mi sono ritrovata sospesa 4 giorni fa per """begging""" quando stavo semplicemente scherzando su una discussione. La cosa mi ha dato molto fastidio, perchè sinceramente si vedeva che stavo solo scherzando; non tutti hanno un senso dell'umorismo fantastico qua mi sa... e quindi dopo 'sta cosa ho cominciato ad evitare completamente il forum.

Qui qualsiasi cosa ricordi lontanamente il "begging" è trattata in quel modo, anche se si tratta palesemente di uno scherzo, lo fanno per evitare che la gente cominci a fare richieste per poi nascondersi dietro "era una battuta" (almeno credo sia questa la causa :|)

Me la sono presa invece visto che mi sono iscritta da poco e ho pure dato via un bel po' di roba... non sono quel genere di persona che si mette a chiedere con insistenza per avere roba free, che più o meno le mie fonti per questo ce le ho, anche se sono quasi sempre giochi pessimi quel che prendo.

Dopo due mesi che sono iscritto becco per la prima volte due italiani in due giorni! :D Mi sembrava che fossimo troppo pochi XD Comunque sì, i post di Rachel sono d'aiuto ma il problema è che il blocco regionale varia da bundle a bundle e varia anche in base alla regione da cui lo compri...comunque credo che Talgaby qua sotto abbia dato una spiegazione abbastanza esauriente.

Wait... Humble Bundles are region-restricted?? I know Steam games are, but I thought most other stores/platforms who sell in USD/EUR provide RoW keys. (Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, I'm just honestly wondering.)
Though as far as I know, Italy doesn't have any region restrictions.

Most bundles don't tell you if their keys are region restrictions. Bundle Stars is, to my knowledge, the only one which consistently tells you about it.

Because they are trying to be more of a store now, so they started carrying a lot of AAA level stuff, where publishers use region restrictions. Other stores are getting region-specific keys as well now, HB being no exception.

A lot of regular digital distribution stores don't tell you if a key is region restricted or not either. In fact, the only ones I can think of are Bundle Stars & Nuuvem.

I have seen this restriction on GMG and GamersGate. Can't recall if the third one was GamesRocket or FunStock (then again, FunStock also deals in strange DRMs, like D2D does…).
Nuuvem only carries region-specific keys for some time, they only have ROW if there are no SA specific keys for that product. Bundle Stars is, well, they realised they should warn customers. I really wish more would follow suit.

If you mean on store page, no. During checkout, before purchasing, yes. For some reason I recall GamersGate having regioning warnings on a store page, but checking there now, I cannot see anything like that… x_x

The only company that always restricts Europe is Deep Silver. And even then, not always always, just for most of their more expensive games.
Capcom has an EU zone too, but it is apparently used only for games developed by them, not just the published ones.
Otherwise, Italy is fully ROW/non-restricted. Apart from the two publishers I mentioned, so far nobody was stupid enough to divide up the North-western quadrant.

SEGA in most cases is a simple matter, since they have SEA and ROW only in stores (very few publishers go through with the full Steam region palette: usually it is RU/CIS, SEA, SA, and ROW – it is rare to see separate store keys for regions like China/Taiwan alone, Turkey, Poland, South Africa…). The shock there was more about the bundle having one single key per tier, rendering it largely useless in giveaways.

Australia has had a lot of issues with games too - until recently we had a max rating of MA15+ - which meant a lot of games were banned - anything that carried an R18+ AO or X, XXX or Unrated rating was considered to be too "offensive" for our delicate population. Recently we got some new rating standards, with R18+ being added, but the back log of games is so high that our ESRB ratings personnel are getting to about 1 game a month - An example of this, South Park - Stick of Truth. Originally banned here, they produced the Low Violence/Language Version, which was all we could get - with the new laws, we should be allowed to get the full version - but because of said back log - we still got that Low Violence/Language version with the Humble Monthly. We can't activate steam games that carry US rating that have not been approved by us, hell sometimes we can't even see items in our discovery queue because it hasn't been approved by our censors. :(
We have even been singled out of some SEA ratings because we are becoming a nanny state.

Sono anch'io italiano, noi siamo nella regione EU2 che dovrebbe essere RoW o comunque non ha restrizioni, quindi siamo a posto. Vai tranquillo/a che per noi non ci sono problemi. ;)
Poi adesso la EU2 non esiste più, è accorpata alla EU1, quindi ancora meno problemi. :)

A dir la verità ho scoperto Fujita proprio grazie a Springald, anche perché oltre a leggere manga li colleziono un sacco, e qua a Torino ci sono un sacco di mercatini sperduti ogni tanto dove puoi trovare roba anche relativamente vecchia e un sacco interessante e che è introvabile nelle normali fumetterie! :D

Search there and open the game in question, and look under "Packages". If there's a package with "SA" or "South America" in the title, then the game is probably region-locked from Humble.

Did somebody understand this damn thing of the HB region restrictions?
Because I have a couple of Jumbo bundle 6, of Sega strategy bundle and of the new Staff picks bundle but I don't know which of these are region restricted, and since I am in Italy, I don't know to which particular region is restricted (I think the whole Europe but my gratest doubt is which bundle/s have been region restricted).
