Atfirst i would say PC , But i will buy the OUYA anyways , then the PS4 or the XBOX 720 : 1. I don't buy them the first year or 2 because they are overpriced, 2. i can play on pc with the controllers, but Which one i will choose? depends if the PS4 won't will change the controller I have to think, If I have to pay to play online on the XBOX 720 it never is going to be that one.

Why is everyone so excited about the Steam box? We're not its target market. It's meant for console gamers that don't want to start PC gaming for one reason or another. As far as I've been told, the Steam box won't do anything that a mid-range computer doesn't do already. Especially with Big Picture, a PC with Steam pretty much IS a Steam box already.

Steambox could be cool tho, especially if you have your computer in your bedroom and want to play your steam games in your living room. providing that we can infact use our PC steam games on it. If not it will be trash.

Still under spec compared to a full on PC for gaming.

Proper monitors are still better quality than almost every single consumer tv.

stupid controllers

Long live PC, keyboard and mouse.

Controllers are a good way of playing a lot of titles.

Good luck playing a brawler with K+M

Brawlers are really the only thing controllers are good for, in my opinion. Playing FPS and strategy games with them is just stupid.

Driving games, action games, plataformers.

Yeah FPS and RTS are not its best uses.

Forgot about Driving games but I don't agree with action and platformer games. The problem with action and platformers is that companies tend to optimize them for controllers rather than keyboarder.

Well you have a point, but I still think that an analogue stick is more precise for jumping and that.

Its mainly personal, I prefer the feel of a mouse to a controller and find it much easier to use.

+1

I only use controllers for consoles and for a very select few games which feel unresponsive with a keyboard (which as said above, is usually due to the lack of optimization). For racers, I either use my steering wheel or just the keyboard if it's arcade-like enough to make that feasible.

PC gamer only, but I enjoy playing with a controller. Wouldn't mind seeing more games with controller support.

Yeah I agree with you here. I do have the xbox for windows controller, only for racing/platform games. But anything else and it just sits ontop of the computer.

But any FPS/RTS etc etc etc big no no for controllers

Don't care. Whichever one will have exclusives that are more appealing to me.

The worst part about PC gaming is the holier-than-thou PC gaming community. This thread is terrible.

Yeah, it can be annoying at times, but honestly, portions of the console community are the exact same way.

PC only for now, perhaps some portable console in the future like PSVite, but most likely just an Android tablet PC. :)

Prior to becoming a pc gamer mainly, I did look forward to the ps4, this is when I mostly played on my ps3, but yeah now idk, unless there'll be some amazing exclusives on the ps4, I'm no longer interested as I can just upgrade my pc instead

It takes at least 3 years for a newly released console to establish itself through exclusives and become worthy enough to warrant a purchase so there is really no reason to get excited about it. Besides for all multiplatform games there is always the PC, with better graphics.
