The only console exclusive I care for are Nintendo ones, so there you have your answer

I'm not saying they're bad, it's just that i don't like/care about them

I have a Vita so I can game on the go or in bed (easier than my laptop), but other than that, I'm PC all the way. In fact, I'm building my new rig this weekend (just got the last piece of the puzzle delivered today).

Once a generation their is one console I want but I usually stick to PC to do to the cost and range of games. I think once mobile gaming is getting better but specifically apple has failed to embrace technologies like Onlive that could bring it more prestige. Onlive, Steambox and Ouya all interest me because of the cost and in the latter two's case openness and ease of distribution. I would love to see Steambox fully support all games that you own on your steam account. Thinking about it now why doesn't Steam team up with Onlive on the steambox?

Over here a console is worth just as much as a mid/high end computer, which brings the question: are exclusive games worth the purchase? (MGS4, Red Dead Redemption, and possibly stuff like Kingdom Hearts III in the PS4) i really don't know, i guess i'll see when they're out.

This is the first generation where I have no care at all.
The "steam box" interests me because it's not a generational thing, but an advancement in media PC's capabilities.
I was there buying a Wii and 360 on day 1, and I bought a PS3 at a later date (because the launch price in the UK was straight up daylight robbery) but this time? i might have to buy a Wii U for work, but im guessing my nephews will use it more than I ever will.
The ps4 interests me a whole 0% right now - the only ps3 game Ive ever really wanted to play is Ni no Kuni and it's only just ome out when my ps3 is in the UK collecting dust along with my wii.
The only console I brought with me is my 360, because the only way I can afford to buy games in Mexico is via pirated discs on the street. (games are ~25-50% more here than in the UK, and I earn far far less than i ever did there)

Last console I had was a ps2, a family member decided to "borrow it" and never returned it. Last console I was interested in getting was the ps3, I didnt pick it up though. I am currently happy with my gaming PC.
Not interested in consoles anymore tbh. I was interested in the steam box until the price and probably specs revealed. Ya, the thing is tiny as hell, but its just far to pricy for what it does.

They better allow for used games for damn sure. Also, if microsoft pulls the pay $60 a year crap to play multiplayer and watch Netflix (in which I have to pay seperately) I am going to buy a PS4 (as long as it lets me play used games). The only way I will buy a console that does not allow used games is only when the new games go on sale for $30 or less.

Don't sure really have not been up to date next gen. So far the only next Gen. I want now is a Wii U. AKA for monster hunter

Oculous Rift and OUYA are the most interesting to me. :D I find that the Wii U is the only other system that interests be because as far as Xbox and PS4 goes.. I have a PC. The OUYA is interesting to me because it is cheap and has an open market, which means lots of game selections on the system! The Oculous rift because... it looks awesome.look at it.

What about video game cloud streaming. Can run Crysis on my nexus 10 tablet with maxed settings or on a pentium 4 maxed settings for 400 USD, price of PS4 I can get 10 games single payment games for lifetime use. And my Pentium 4 will beat 1,000 USD PCs and I never need to upgrade or wait for my games to download

I have to a lot of PC games to play/Finish, maybe I will get a PS5 when that hits.

Don't worry, I'm sure you will find a way to increase your PC backlog between now and then.

Isn't it better to buy PS4 first then a PC. A minimuum 600 USD PC, 8 core cpu, HD 7850 gpu = same specs as PS4. PS4 will be 428 USD

No, becouse i wont be able to play Arche Age on max on PS4 XD. Also MODS, MODS EVERYWHERE XD ...

Well, seeing as my 4 year old computer is still better than the PS4, nope.

I think it's definitely going to be more colorful than the previous one. Now there's Ouya, there's the main 3 (Nintendo - Xbox - PlayStation), Valve's new hardware, and there might be a chance for Apple to try their luck with gaming systems now. Then there's the miniscule chance for Sega to reveal a new console, which they may or may not have been working on for some time now. Going to be tough on console junkies, I tell ya. My pick would be the PC, and then maybe the new Valve thingy and Ouya. I'd consider the new PS too, but it seems like both Sony and Microsoft completely went bollocks over backwards compatibility, so I'll pass. But then again, PS+ is just too inviting...
And the fact that the new xbox might need a constant internet connection, and a one-time activation code for their games (which means no used games, no borrowing games from your friends, and definitely no renting games from shops), leads me to the fact that I might get that one, only to mod it and pirate games for it. Doesn't mean I might not buy games for it, because I'm sentimental like that, but treat me like shit and I'll treat you like it too.
And as for the Wii U... It's much more promising than it was on its launch. I'll see how many genuinely good and interesting games it'll get.

i think i'll stick with the pc, unless something very innovative and to an affordable price comes out. Mmh, maybe, who knows, if in a future i'll see some games like kingdom hearts 3(i doubt it, but it's one of the few games i really want to be make) i can change my mind.
