Typo at the note of the 3 mystery games bundle, it says 6 instead of 3.

So you will be covering this the next 24 hours or how long it takes?

Comment has been collapsed.

No, I will not be able to. I need some sleep and I have a very tight deadline at work tomorrow.
I'll do what threads I can, the rest will be covered by other people or by me after work (or maybe during the lunch break too, who knows).

Could someone explain me the differences between "Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Bundle" and "Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition"?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

As far as I'm aware, there is no difference.

Thanks for the reply. I suspected they were different packages with same contents, but I asked because Fanatical store sells them separately:

I think they have the bundle one because it might be a more enticing name to their audience, that's the only reason I can think of for the two different packages.

Permalink

One key vs multiple keys is probably the only difference.

Permalink

No, the bundle comes as a single key too. :-)

Really? Then there's no point to having two different store pages.

in the past they sometimes sold 2 key version (basegame and dlc-pack separately):
https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/oYHzi/bundle-stars-middle-earth-shadow-of-mordor-bundle-out-of-stock-over

But in any case it's the same package overall. you can sometimes find this game also sold as "Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Premium Edition" and it is also the same thing as the GOTY version.

As for why it's listed twice at the website, we can only guess unless ask from them directly, but maybe they just like it to appear in both categories, bundles and individual game sections of the site.

Infinity Bundle is a really good value. I've already purchased everything in there of interest, but if you don't have them it's worth taking a look. At that price even slight interest might be worth taking a shot.

Is the entire F.E.A.R franchise good? Looking forward into this price drop

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

The original F.E.A.R. is a classic and still fun to play today. The expansions are nowhere as good but still enjoyable. F.E.A.R. 2 is also a step down from the original but overall it's still a decent game. And F.E.A.R. 3 was so bad it killed the series.

Of course they go and devalue the Port Royale 3 Gold keys people got from the grab bag.... nice job Fanatical.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

It's an old bundle relaunched for the same price it had been in May, there is no devaluation?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I went off the chart from the other thread that said Port Royale 3 Gold had never been bundled. I guess this wasn't counted because it is separate keys for the individual dlc.

My mistake... overreacting a bit... been having a few bad days.

is there any good games on the Mystery Bundle (6 Games)? I am intrigued but If I'm getting like crappy games for $5 might as well just hold on to my money and spend it elsewhere.

I just want to know if they're even worth it like can I get a Farcry 5 key in there or a Ghost Recon Wildlands level of games or a Witcher 3 GOTY? Because I have a feeling that they're just selling it to dispose their stocked keys from crappy bundles and posted that you can win AAA games from that mystery bundle as a bait.

It's basically a gamble, you should read the corresponding topics in the forums.
Some few users were lucky but the majority is not satisfied with the mix. ;)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

You won't get Farcry 5 or Ghost Recon Wildlands or Witcher 3 , but there are some nice things in there too. The chances seem to be extremely low though.
If you check the associated SteamGifts thread you'll see a big list of games, compiled from what people got so far.

for the Tales of the Candlekeep Bundle, this also seems to be a price drop compared to when it was on Star Deal, going by this wonderful thread https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/h6Mlc/fanatical (66% as compared to previously 60%)

I forgot to add: "Time limited offer. Ends in 2 days"

So it may poof or increase after that. I'd assume it coincides with the FEAR and Shadow of Mordor Bundles changing or expiring on the 21st, but you know what they say about assuming XD

On the one hand, sucks to hear there's no replay value, on the other hand, with my backlog it might be better that way. And who knows, by the time I finished that, I might replay it as though it was the first time, haha.

Glad to see that Infinity Bundle is back. I already have Fran Bow, Tharsis, and Dex, but this is a very nice deal for someone looking for those and more.

The Fully Reloaded 5 bundle is also interesting. I am a big fan of Spirits of Xanadu, (I prefer to play in 'peaceful mode'.) Actually tempted to get it again to have a spare for pals.

It was worth it for the Infinity bundle alone, all these rebundle are a bit sad though. They started strong let's hope the finish will be as good.
