Today's 9/10/21...
I've asked this question before, but today is my cakeday. So please, as this day might be the last chance to ask, and get a final answer. What is 9+10?
Is it 19?
Or is it 21?

And if you want to meet in the middle of the road... nO. 😒

Off the topic, but some people think that your birthday/cakeday is the day you should receive stuff. However, when I was in elementary school, it was customary to bring some sweets to share with the class to compensate them for singing Happy Birthday song. I believe something similar is going on here on SG.
So enjoy your treats :P

And while we're talking about treats, I want to recommend you a book. It has 5 letter title...
Can you guess it? :3

It's 20!!!! (you know, between 19 and 21, you can have both)

I even voted so that 19 and 21 have each 11 votes

Oh maths, I excel at this.

Now, we're looking at 9+10=X where we're told the variable "X" is either 19 or 21. First we must know that there are 31 days in October and it is currently the 9th so if we take 31-9 we are left with a remainder of 22. Let's look at the equation 9+10=X again, we have two numbers and a variable so that gives us the hidden factor of 3. We're going to take our remainder of 22 and subtract the hidden factor of 3 to be left with 19.

We can check the validity of our solution by simply using addition, 9+10=19. Did we just find our answer?! Yes and no. The variable X is indeed 19 but the answer we're looking for is not so simply deduced. We're given two options and BOTH are correct but 19 is not the final solution as this equation is a trick in and of itself!

It's of utmost importance to find the difference between our answer choices of 19 or 21 and as we can see for ourselves here, 21-19 = 2. So with this hidden piece we can now find the true answer. We know that our variable is 19 so our equation now looks like this, 9+10=19. But with the difference of 2 we must now proceed further in the equation, 19+2=T where T is the true answer. Following the mathematical principle of addition, we can come to a groundbreaking conclusion that the final answer is in fact 21.

The true answer:
9+10
where
10=1+0=1
then
9+10 = 9+1+0 = 10 = 1+0
therefore, the answer is 1
