I recently won "Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide" on Steamgifts. Previously, I activated a public beta key for the same game.

However, the full game key (that I won on SG) doesn't activate on Steam -- it says product already owned. What can i do?

I cannot remove the public beta key from my account. Cheers!

Sorry Mullins, there is no option to remove the public beta.

then it's probably a beta like mk said ;_;

ask the ga creator, then send a support ticket.

Try using the support section on the right side, when you load the beta game in your library tab. That's how you remove non-free games, so if the normal free-removal approach Mullins linked you to doesn't work, the full-removal option ought to.

Look for it there. If it has a "Remove" option next to it, you can remove it that way.

What if he removed it, found it was indeed the Beta again, but a duped Beta key? :D

Then he's lost his beta access (if he wanted it).

Isn't the beta over? O.o

The game is in full release.

Ah, I had no idea, not familiar with the game/thought they still might work to activate a demo or equivalent.

It sounds like the keys are still working in the sense that they at least activate an entry in your library if nothing else otherwise it would be a "invalid key" message. I wonder why they didn't just kill the keys.

^^ What Mullins said.

Then see if the one you won is the full game or the beta ;)

First Remove the beta Key and then activate the full key.

In form the giveaway maker that its not working.

If he doesn't provide a working key or gift for the game in 7 days mark as not received.

you might want to contact support and see what they have to say about it, but the above is pretty much all you can do.

I agree, it sounds like its the beta key, which is not suppose to be given away here. So either way the giveaway maker has to provide a working key/gift. If its the giveaway I'm thinking of, he said his friend gave him the key for it. There was recently a beta key giveaway for it.

Yes, in our chats he mentioned that his friend gave him the (beta?) key, which in turn was passed to me. I am not 100% sure if this key is full game or public beta?

Well, I even told you about it. Make him work to get your game or just wait 7days and mark it as not received. I warn you about his key

GA creator said that he only has 1 key (for Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide), and no more.

I refused his offer to compensate me with other games, but we did a fair 1-to-1 trade during chat.

I knew that's going to happen, that's why I didn't enter for that giveaway. I even warned people in that giveaway making a comment saying that it's the first giveaway that person made and that he doesn't have the game in his inventory. And yet people joined anyway.
