Try using the support section on the right side, when you load the beta game in your library tab. That's how you remove non-free games, so if the normal free-removal approach Mullins linked you to doesn't work, the full-removal option ought to.

Look for it there. If it has a "Remove" option next to it, you can remove it that way.

What if he removed it, found it was indeed the Beta again, but a duped Beta key? :D
Then he's lost his beta access (if he wanted it).

Ah, I had no idea, not familiar with the game/thought they still might work to activate a demo or equivalent.
It sounds like the keys are still working in the sense that they at least activate an entry in your library if nothing else otherwise it would be a "invalid key" message. I wonder why they didn't just kill the keys.

In form the giveaway maker that its not working.
If he doesn't provide a working key or gift for the game in 7 days mark as not received.
you might want to contact support and see what they have to say about it, but the above is pretty much all you can do.

I agree, it sounds like its the beta key, which is not suppose to be given away here. So either way the giveaway maker has to provide a working key/gift. If its the giveaway I'm thinking of, he said his friend gave him the key for it. There was recently a beta key giveaway for it.

I knew that's going to happen, that's why I didn't enter for that giveaway. I even warned people in that giveaway making a comment saying that it's the first giveaway that person made and that he doesn't have the game in his inventory. And yet people joined anyway.

I recently won "Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide" on Steamgifts. Previously, I activated a public beta key for the same game.
However, the full game key (that I won on SG) doesn't activate on Steam -- it says product already owned. What can i do?
I cannot remove the public beta key from my account. Cheers!
