Region lock only forbidden to buy the game, not to play it?

Hi!

How does the region lock actually works? I wonder it because I was able to buy (With some IP help) some Rockstar games and the weird part is that after I get the games, there has been not a single message of warning that those games are region lock. Has been more than 1 month since I bought those games and I have played it without problems.

My account is lock to Venezuela, South America, I can't even saw those games store pages with my regular IP... So I don't know if region lock only work to avoid you from getting the game, or my account have something weird.

Depends on game.

afaik, default locking affect gift copies, not copies bought for yourself.

So, if I continue getting region lock games they will work as usual games?

i think some games limit you to your region thouugh.so it wood be the refion game was bought in. just dont think it happens alor.
