For anyone who sucks like myself and decided to get a blackberry instead of a real Smartphone, I'm going to write up a quick guide how to gain this achievement without actually owning a mobile phone capable of getting the app.

Step 1: Go to http://bluestacks.com/ and download the program.

Step 2: Install Program and run.

Step 3: Choose the little search function on the right side of the program to search for apps, and then type Steam.

Step 4: Choose the steam app at the top, and install.

Step 5: Click My apps, then click on steam to run.

Step 6: Enjoy getting the achievement.

Hope this helps out, confirmed this works for myself, and yes, you can say WHY THE F*** did you buy a blackberry anyway, I deserve it.

NOTE** Getting a "No App Found. Please Check Network Connectivity" error try the following.

"Go to: Mobile App
At the bottom, there is a link to the .APK download the .APK and open it, it should install the app."

Thanks to user- mangenkyo for the tip!

Yeah I noticed a few people mention the program, just wanted to post a little topic regarding this. Not everyone has a phone that can download the app anyway.

Is that the 'checking it twice' one? because its lit for me, so I don't know how I triggered it.

I have steamgifts app as well as steam, so I can enter a few things at work during my dinner.

the forum part needs work but its pretty cool.

No, it's the Shopping List one. Checking it Twice seems to be a gimmie for just visiting the sale.

It'd be nice if Valve had told us how exactly we'd unlocked that achievement before ever learning about its existence. Thanks for clearing that up.

I used Manymo to have the achiv, bluestacks takes quite sometime to install that it was faster to create an account on Manymo and drag the app on it

Aw, wish I knew I could do it without installing anything. Bluestacks left some BS (get it?) after uninstalling it that I had to remove manually, and there may still be remnants I haven't found.

Revo Uninstaller Pro is your best friend. Even if you already uninstalled the program.

Would you mind explaining how to do that on there for those of us that have never used a smartphone.

1-Download the APP here

2-Go create an account on Manymo

3-Drag the app on the box

4-Choose an emulator, login on steam normally. This is a trivial thing to do
