Gonna have to disagree with calling Lords of Shadow crappy. I've got a friend who that's one of his all time favorites. I'd totally buy a ton of anime games if they were on steam. Have the first ps2 Fullmetal Alchemist game and I love it. And they're most likely exclusive to Sony because playstation stuff is HUGE in Japan.

Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 (w/ Corkscrew Follies/Loopy Landscapes ofc)
Spyro the Dragon- the original trilogy. None of that new shit.
EDIT: I'd also like to see Lord of the Rings: Conquest, but that is incredibly doubtful as it is currently (?) on Origin.

It got a lot of criticism for being buggy, having terrible graphics, and overall weirdness.
But I personally absolutely loved it. I own it on Xbox, and yeah, mages were pretty OP. First I thought "archers could one-shot a lot of enemies from a distance, also that badass fire bomb", but mages had a fucking gigantic ranged shield.

Metroid Prime and Eternal Darkness. Come on Nintendo, stop hating humanity and put something out on PC!

You could technically buy either and stick the GC/Wii discs in your comp's DVD drive and play them on your PC.

Pretty much everything in your list can be played on PC with emulators.
"What games would you absolutely buy if they came to Steam?"
Something that I can't already, namely: Red Dead Redemption.
Seriously Rockstar/Take 2, nearly every single one of your games is ported to PC, EXCEPT for the Red Dead games? Wth?

When it comes to old games, and if steam version would come with decent adaptation to modern machines (like launching in window or full-screen with correct proportions on wide displays, higher resolutions, improved controls in some titles etc.) and known bug fixes, and it did cost less than AoE II HD Edition - there would be at least 50 titles to list.
Some games, though, have freeware remakes or mods that render modernized edtitions obsolete.
As for new games, it would be damn convenient to have every single game published on steam, but on the second hand, competition is healthy, and monopoly is not.

I was just thinking about how that crappy "Castlevania" game came to Steam recently. I would absolutely buy the good ones in the franchise. Simon's Quest (maybe), Symphony of the Night, Aria of Sorrow, Harmony of Dissonance, and Dawn of Sorrow (use the mouse to draw the stupid symbols). Maybe even Circle of the Moon.
Since first-party Nintendo games including Super Metroid are out, Shadow Complex. It was a spiritual successor to Super Metroid released exclusively on Xbox Live Arcade a few years ago. The story was written by Orson Scott Card however, and a lot of people don't want their money going to hate groups, so that might be a problem. I might still buy it. Bought it on the 360 already, though.
If Square ever put Secret of Mana or Chrono Trigger on Steam I would definitely buy Mana, and probably pick up Chrono at some point.
So many anime games are exclusive to Sony. (Anybody know why that is?) The .hack//SIGN game, all four parts in one package (the game was divided into four parts for some reason). The Fullmetal Alchemist stuff.
