Bump!!
Just sat down after a marathon cheesecake making effort - took me a while to make the base. Got a lot easier after rereading the recipe and realising I was supposed to add the butter at this step (so I scraped it out of the dish and added the stupid butter). It is now nearly 9 at night, have done 2 lots of dishes, 3 stages of cheesecake (base, cheesecakey middle, extravagant choc top with oreo cookies and flake choc bars). Have always been slapdash at cooking, no idea why I decided to try this (oh yeah, family christmas get together tomorrow :)

Lol. I left out the part where other stuff goes wrong, but as the cook, I get to lick the spoons and know that despite how it appears on the tray, it tastes okay and looks nice. I think the tray I used is too long so my cheesecake will be more cheese slice (?!) Thank god I only put myself through that about once a year.
