Recommend finding people outside of discussion? That's tough. Almost everyone I've added to my whitelist has been from the site's discussions.

The only times I've found people outside of the Discussions section is when they replied to one of my giveaways, or I replied to one of their giveaways, and that turned into a conversation. Or when a mistake occurred and was resolved really well, like when I accidentally marked a giveaway as "Sent" but forgot to actually send the key to the winner, and the winner was exceedingly gracious and polite about contacting me and pointing out the issue.

This sounds a whole lot like the whole sub for sub thing that some Youtubers do...

You can make giveaways with sgtools, set the rules how you like and pick users from the entries page for your whitelist.

And although I didn't make whitelist giveaways every 6 months (not many people on my whitelist, nor many groups I felt liek sharing with), I did make them recently, and about 12 months ago.

I'm in if you will have me. I've only done one so far. A month ago. I intend to do more. I meant to include the one I did ending today as well as a small group but I forgot till after I hit submit and I never felt like redoing it. Its burred deep in a comment in the thread about Make war not Love. Its for "SanctuaryRPG: Black Edition" if anyone wants to go hunting for it. :)

I've never created a whitelist giveaway but way to grow your whitelist.

I usually include my whitelist in my group giveaways. Most recently was 3 weeks ago. .

That's quite normal, really. Some people will whitelist others just to return the favor, but the majority won't care or will have their own separate criteria users must pass before getting on their whitelist (such as they only whitelist those they've won games from, or who have played the majority of their wins, good ratio, etc.).

Mutual whitelists don't make much sense in my opinion. I don't expect anyone I whitelisted to whitelist me back. If they earned a spot on my whitelist (and a few hundreds did), it's for something nice they did on this site, not for merely whitelisting me.
