Real True Game Fact #49
Hello Games was contracted for Mormon Afterlife before they developed any games. When the Mormon God foundout they are reusing Afterlife code in NMS, Hello Games' studio flooded and Mormon Angels destroyed any reused asset. Since then Hello Games is rewriting those code blocks with different syntax, hence the lack of many promised features at release that were implemented later in updates.

IMPORTANT UPDATE
The Real True Mystery Artifact has disintegrated and is no longer available for study. A big thanks to all of those who studied it!
It is looking like the Real True Mystery Artifact is potentially going to expire soon. It's in the advanced stages of decomposition at the moment! I don't think it'll be around too much longer, so it's best to get your research in quickly, before it goes!Welcome
It is I, ruteqube, the foremost finder of elite-level Real True trivia. I have shared some of my valuable knowledge here before, but just as every star fades, so too does every master need new apprentices. In this thread, I will be looking for others who can also find and share the most interesting and useful of Real True Game Facts with the world.
What are Real True Game Facts?
They are Game Facts that are Real and True.
Your Task
Research, hunt, and search far and wide to uncover the Realest and Truest Game Facts to share here -- information that, up until now, has been left undisclosed and unappreciated. My Real True Game Facts come from thousands of hours of deep dives into library archives, archeological digs, and the games in the TrackMania series. I am but one person, however. By enlisting your help here, we can unlock so much more information with our combined power, and we can eat so many more mozzarella sticks (which is, as far as I can tell, an essential part of the research process).
Let's work together to post any Real True Game Facts we discover in this thread so that we can make it the most definitive source of Real True gaming information in the world.
New Real True Game Facts
These are the most recent Real True Game Facts that my research has uncovered:

Celeste is the only game to not have an any% speedrun category.
Real True Game Fact #2
The Tekken series has the largest roster of characters across all fighting games, offering at least four different characters to choose from.
Real True Game Fact #3
Amaterasu, better known as the wolf in Okami, did not expect to get the part. She had originally auditioned for the role of Claire Redfield in Resident Evil: Code Veronica, but the producers felt that she was a little too believable in that role.
Real True Game Fact #4
Forgotten PlayStation 2 hidden gem Final Fantasy X was the first ever game to be called Final Fantasy X on the PlayStation 2.
Real True Game Fact #5
The unexpected success of Nier: Automata has propelled its publisher to greenlight two additional games to round out a trilogy. Far: Automata will be released in 2022, followed by Wherever You Are: Automata in 2024.
Real True Game Fact #6
Super Meat Boy has, in the 11 years since his game’s debut, aged into Super Meat Man.
Real True Game Fact #7
The Dance Dance Revolution series has attempted coups in several countries but has never successfully overthrown a government.
Real True Game Fact #8
Contrary to its name, Slime Rancher features no ranch dressing whatsoever and was widely panned by reviewers as a result.
Real True Game Fact #9
The engineers who designed the follow-up to Nintendo’s Wii U wanted to find a better name than the “Wii U2”, but, unfortunately, they still haven’t found what they're looking for.
Real True Game Fact #10
Following the SNES, Nintendo wanted to push games into the second dimension and released the highly successful Nintendo 144. It was named for a perfect square because the console was the first device to ever be able to display graphics in two dimensions.
Real True Mystery Artifact
Speaking of perfect squares, as I was deep in my highly rigorous and intellectual academic research attempting to uncover the greatest hidden Real True Game Facts, I found this interesting grid of 100 five character sequences. I'm not entirely sure what they mean, but it's rare that I find something that stumps me, so I figured I'd share it here, in case any of my apprentices want to examine them more closely. Such a mystery!
