Oh why not a poll? So... did you participate? And did you enjoy it if you did?

Very fun event, Zooz. I think you managed to test all the parts of my brain with all those puzzles :P

Bump for GREAT JOB! So many puzzles, GAs and the plot... You're awesome! :) Very well done!

Thanks, corrected it. :)
And yeah, i liked that puzzle from the moment i saw it years ago, but it was probably a bit of a hard puzzle to have people solve through SG's normal ways, dunno. But glad you for one enjoyed it, despite driving you insane. ^.^

Unfortunately I missed it. I need to keep better track of puzzles.

Nothing to be ashamed of. :P
I put the option there for a reason. ;)
I myself was running out of patience when writing wormhole 7's plot, that's why the characters there were so short-lived.
Especially that Docile Jester guy, whoever that is. :P

^.^
At least try to read wormhole 5 when you have a bit of time (you just have to click on the links 5-1, 5-2, etc. you can skip the puzzle solutions, those are there merely for those who wanted to know the answers)... it's just to get your thoughts on the... err... villain. :P

Almost forgot, the SG users puzzles (I got stuck on PZ-4-6):
Is there some way I'm not aware of to look for SG users by letters without DDoSing the site or some other way?
Comment has been collapsed.
Not that i'm aware of.
But the answers are there now, i get some of the usernames are hard to find if you don't know them, but most of them are relatively well-known users. The red herrings i threw in the mix of other names you could combine probably didn't help either. :P

One technic I used was to look at the entry list of Lvl8-lv10 GAs.
Then dumped all the usernames in Excel. Then could filter on length and starting letter's etc.
Still took a while :) Now I have a searchable list of SGUsers though. I'm ready if TheZooz ever dares to show his face again :P

It did make me think about would it have been different (for me) if it was split up into chapters. I.e. release the first few lot of puzzles. Do them, it's exciting and don't get burnt out. Then by the time the next lot comes out the puzzles will be exciting again.
So you would manage our not burning out as we are incapable of doing a couple of puzzles and coming back in a couple of days! It's just a mental thing, cause when you want to take a break from puzzling you go, 'oh, there is still so much more of this to go...' and when you are in the too much puzzles mood, that can feel like a burden!
Anyway, just a thought I had, not necessarily better or worse, just interesting in regards to the human psyche. Though that could have plenty of negative consequences of loss of flow, but also more entrants who aren't interested in the story!

Well, ironically thought about it too... close to the end. :P
Dunno, i decided it this way and just went with it, mostly considering the way it was structured and how i spread the easter egg info.
It would have its pros to structure it in bits / pieces, sure.
But oh well, no point in dwelling now. :)

To be honest, it's more a reflection on us that it's even a decision to make! Still having to be spoon fed things cause we don't know how to manage ourselves. Then if you go one way, it works for one group, but not for another.
We are quick to blame (or not take responsibility), "I would have done it if you split it up smaller", when we could take responsibility and section it up ourselves over the weeks. I'm not sure I would have done it if it was split up as I guilt myself when I put in time and effort into other things when I haven't been putting it into my work
This is what I do with my day thinking of these things. It's actually quite amazing how much control of our lives we give to others (or to outside events) and it only seems to be getting worse!

So, as promised here's a posting of all the puzzle solutions for this along with the links to all the GAs so you can read the plot, since the plot is written in the GA description (for the very, very few interested :P). Also a simple explanation of where all the easter eggs and red herrings were and their puzzles.
And yes, there are gibs at the end of the post. And no, no puzzles to solve this time. ;)
And no, it's not another wall of text, no way around 60+ links (x2), if you don't care about the links, there's very little text actually.

Egg 7 - Preceding Puzzle Solution - Actual result would be an image link, following it would lead to the GA.
Red Herring 1 - Preceding Puzzle Solution - Result is a series of images, but no GA at the end. :P
Red Herring 2 - Preceding Puzzle Solution - Result is a series of images, but no GA at the end. :P
How to find the eggs/herrings:
Eggs 1 (Green), 2 (Yellow), 4 (Purple), 6 (Orange), 7 (Blue), along with Red Herring 1 (Red) and Red Herring 2 (Black), could be found using this picture. That would give you the order of the location of the fragments (letters) for the puzzles that led to them. There are 8 letters on ITTH links, so the 7th fragment always contained the last 2 letters.
Egg 3 puzzle letters could be found on every GA that said You notice Bear found a honey jar.
You would find an invisible character immediately after the sentence, so you had to view source code of the surrounding lines.
Egg 5 puzzle letters were found bolded in the plot in GAs 7-1, 6-2, 5-3, 4-4, 3-5, 2-6 and 1-7, in that order.
All of the above had multiple hints on the egg-hint board to make it easier for you to find.
The part most of you really want, the GAs:
My birthday was on the 7th, this whole puzzle had the number 7 associated to it... and it seems i hit level 7 with this.
So have 1 GA per each level up to 7. So,
illumin8 conf...bah, nevermind. O.oNothing too fancy, but it's what i can spare atm, so enjoy. :)
GA 1 - Level 1+
GA 2 - Level 2+
GA 3 - Level 3+
GA 4 - Level 4+
GA 5 - Level 5+
GA 6 - Level 6+
GA 7 - Level 7+
If any link whatsoever (from GAs, puzzle solutions, whatever) happens to be broken, please be kind enough to warn me and i'll fix it. :)
Keep the blacklist drama out of this thread, please. You will just be ignored.
If you really feel you've been unfairly treated, you can add me on steam instead, but don't expect any miracles if you've dug yourself too deep.
