This list specifically refers to games that weren't removed from accounts, but games where unused keys are no longer valid. Developers can deactivate batches of keys without revoking the games from accounts. As you can see from its length, this is not an extremely rare occurrence. Keys that have been deactivated will give the user an error that the key was already redeemed when an activation attempt is made, adding to the confusion.
This reflects poorly on SteamGifts users when they giveaway a genuinely unused key that the developer decided to rescind for no valid reason. The most common reason I've seen is disputes between the bundle host and the game developer on royalties and copies sold (some sites like Desura/IndieRoyale went bankrupt and closed down owing developers a bunch of money). Other times it's seller's remorse when their keys flood the gray markets and cannibalize their regular sales.

Not sure if it's been mentioned here but my Reflection of Mine key from Indie Gala's Hump Day # 30 turned out to be duped.
Hump Day 30 is a 2016 bundle and apparently, the game was still unfinished at that time. Now, I'm kinda wondering if the dev revoked all the unused keys when RoM left Early Access...
Edit: ok so the developer said he never revoked any keys and to contact IG about it. I've emailed Indie Gala, I'm curious to see what they will have to say about that issue.

Anyone knows about The Observer Keys? Shows as invalid (not duplicate) to a friend but I activated one 3-4 days ago so if it's something it's new. Any ideas? Maybe recently revoked?

Hmmm.. So it's something else.. Ok thanks a lot :)

Just tried multiple keys from different bundles of Back To Basics Gaming developer, all duped. Is it another scam?
Comment has been collapsed.
Most of the keys from that bundle, and probably most of the Back To Basics Gaming keys from other sources, have been revoked. I've just tried a few - duplicates with only a few exceptions. I can't even check the rest of them now due to too many failed activation attempts...

I tried to activate all unused keys I could find for games developed / published by Back To Basics Gaming.
With only a few exceptions, all these keys have been revoked.
This includes:
Fanatical Ultra Bundle, Ultra Bundle Reloaded, Super Turbo Mega,
Indie Gala Back To Basics bundle, also keys from other IG bundles,
All keys from Groupees bundles, DIG bundles
What I also noticed is that some of these games completely dissapeared from my DIG (DailyIndieGame) profile. For example Warriors of Vilvatikta from DIG Super Bundle 74 and The Land of Dasthir from DIG Super Bundle 83, Star Fields from greenlight bundle (and according to the email from DIG I found in my mailbox, they had been previously added). The rest of the games with unrevealed keys from the mentioned bundles were still there.
I guess that DIG already knew these keys were invalidated and silently removed the games from user accounts. Keys that have not been removed from the account yet (for example Final Quest from DIG Super Bundle 74), turned out to be duplicates.

No, I have not contacted them. I don't think it is worth the effort at this point. They must have known about this issue already. DIG allows to trade in unrevealed keys and I guess they did this on purpose here, to prevent it. I have noticed before that they had to automatically reveal some keys for titles that were removed from steam or revoked. In this case, instead of just revealing the keys in the user's account, they apparently silently removed them. Not the best (or fair) way to handle this issue in my opinion...
I've already spent more time checking these keys than it is worth. I just wanted to share this information here, so that others can avoid potential problems with their giveaways.

Thanks for all the reports! I know that I haven't updated the thread in a long time but that's due to 2 main reasons: time (every row needs to be manually formatted, the info have to be gathered from Steam / SG threads, the Barter entries need to be updated - basically it's a huge amount of time and effort) and character limit.
Considering the sheer amount of reports, I think this thread should be split in 2 (old reports / new reports) or moved to GitHub where I can extend the charts indefinitely (the downside of that is that RaChart will not work on those tables).
I'll try to see if I can come up with a solution and catch up with all the reports from the past months during the holidays - finally some time off work 🙃

Speaking for myself: It's a lot of work to format all of these reports, it's completely understandable that you can't manage all of it. Thank you so much for all the effort you've put into this (and all the other threads). And I think GitHub is a great idea to manage all of this.
Regardless of updating the charts: By reporting games someone that were to do a search for that game would at least find a comment about that game being duped before.
And happy holidays!

Lists to use:
Unused Keys Revoked: https://barter.vg/notices/513
Revoked (Dev): https://barter.vg/notices/362
Revoked (DMCA): https://barter.vg/notices/361
Duplicates: https://barter.vg/notices/372
If you want this information for one game specifically, you can find it under the "Notices" section for the Barter entry of that game.
(Example: https://barter.vg/i/42708/ then scroll down to "Notices": you'll see the red notice "Revoked (Dev) ⌫"; mouseovering it will give you some more info)
Thanks to everyone who reported their key revocations here. Please continue reporting them here. You folks are awesome!
Due to character limit, time constraints and having to manually create the chart rows, it's very difficult to keep a list on revocations on SteamGifts. Since I am the one managing these notices on Barter anyway, I thought it would be convenient to centralize the reports from SteamGifts and trade offers into one place and Barter proved to be a good solution for that because of its bundles and game database.
The below lists will not be updated on SG any more, but all your reports will be reflected on Barter, so please continue reporting them.
Previous links, for reference:
A list of games completely revoked from your library after activation
A list of games whose unredeemed keys were revoked (the big chart that was previously in this thread was moved here)
