Double Cake Day!

Hi!
Today I visited steamgifts and as it turns out, it's my cake day! (You can tell by the cute little factory by my username).

Also, in a week it will be my 26th birthday! I've been playing games since I was five or six years old, started out on this beautiful clone of NES sold in Poland:

So that will be 20 years of great gaming!

I got my first PC when I was 9.
A lot of people looked down upon that later on, when I was a teenager and still played games, because "it was weird for a girl to play games", especially my parents, some of my female friends as well. It's not like I played a lot of "girly" games, too. Tony Hawk 2, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Fifa 2000, Heroes 3, GTA. Also, platformers like Croc, Kao the Kangaroo, Harry Potter series, Jazz Jackrabbit.

What is funny that, it's still weird for some people when a girl likes to play games and now, there are like, gazillions of them and they are very popular! (games, not girls)

But I ignored all of that and I just continued to do what makes me happy.
