i got the Orange box during new year .. and it says Team Fortress 2 is in it

Does that mean i now have a premium tf2 account ? :)

It will be activated at the same time you activate Orange box. You should get a "proof of purchase" hat when you startup TF2 next time

Yes you do. Did you ever read the TF2 FAQ? Anyways any purchase of TF2 in retail or in a Steam pack will give you premium(ONCE, duh)

It's been said many times, but yes. Check your steam history for confirmation: It should list "Team Fortress 2 - Premium DLC" among the other games that Orange Box activated.
