For you personally, what amount of entries makes you skip the giveaway because it's 'too many' and you view it as waste of points/virtually unwinnable ?

I tend to not enter anything with more than 1000 because well let's be real ,chances of winning that is pretty pretty slim. Especially with the new point system i often even skip most of my wishlist giveaways due to huge number of entries.

Amount of entries doens't make a difference for me.

42... nah, don't have the time to keep checking on GAs all the time to make sure they're below some benchmark of entries.
Also i don't feel like using scripts which would make that possible without having to manually check.

Honestly I only look at whether I want to play that game.
If yes, then I enter. If no then I don't enter.

I'm not sure , it only about how I want.

Including how much I want to play, or how long will play.

I actually go through my entries and if I see some with more then 500 I cancel and use the points somewhere else
With Esgst this is really easy and you can color code the chances to see the ones worth really easy
I make some exceptions for wö games, but only to some degree

considering points are free and if I really needed to I could back out of a giveaway and get the points back before it ends, I enter all giveaways for my wishlist games only. When there's mass giveaways by the publisher/developer I usually don't worry so much since so many keys are being given away.

If the game is on my wishlist or if it looks like a game that I would enjoy, I'm entering. A slim chance is still a chance. I do have priorities though, so if I had to choose between 2 giveaways because I wouldn't have enough points to enter them both, I'd obviously enter the one with the best chance, but that almost never happens - I often have 400P sitting there and there are rarely more than 1 page of wishlist giveaways for me.

Depends on a game, quantity of giveaways and quantity of points left :P

... People actually care about that? O_o

Considering that I'm still constantly at maximum points since I barely enter stuff, points are free and I may as well have the same (slim) chance in winning a 10 entry giveaway as I do a 1000 entry one with my track record... No, I really don't care about how many entries there are- If it's a game I wanna play a lot, I'll go for it. Heck, I'm more likely to not enter if there are only a handful of entries and they all express a higher desire to play the game than me. :P

I enter all of the giveaways that I care about no matter the number of entries. At first I did not like the changes to the point system but I got used to it soon. I do have a lot of games hidden so that helps my point bank a lot. So far I have not run out of points yet.

Edit: Recently I won a GA with 1804 entries. Would be shame if I hadnt join it or left it because it was more than 1000 :)

There is always ONE chance to win... it doesn't matter the numbers of entries :)

Usually when it’s more than 2000 entries per copy

If I look at my record I see that single copies weren't reachable for me with more than 500 entries, so I think 500 is a good number to keep in mind. Unless it's something you see very rarely on here.

Ever since the point changes, I have my filter set to Chance 0.5 - 100%. That weeds out a lot of GAs with a low chance of winning. I have every unwanted game filtered out, so my front page only shows a few dozen titles. Although I sometimes get curious and take a peek at all of them if I have enough points. If I need some points, I'll look through my entries and cancel ones with thousands of entries.

Considering the odds I've beaten in the past (PS Vita from Taco Bell, in Second Chance drawing, with only one entry, so probably multi-millions to a small handful against), the real answer, to me, is it really doesn't matter how bad the odds are.
Though I do admit most of my big wins had some pretty good odds (Surface RT 8:1 at MS Store South Coast Plaza, Big Jambox 6:1 MS Store South Coast Plaza, Xbox One 500GB 4:1 MS Store Shops at Mission Viejo).

I try for around 20, but mostly enter around under 100. 200 is around the maximum I'll typically go, although I do sometimes exceed that limit when there's a game I really want.

And you've probably guessed it - I enter whitelist/group giveaways only. I don't like entering thousands of giveaways with the slim chance of winning one, and prefer entering the very occasional giveaway with a decent chance to win. Feels more like a real raffle/contest of some sort than "farming" giveaways. :P

I do have giveaways with ~500 entries in my history though, mostly because I joined at around the 200 mark.

Well, 1000 entries for me too is kinda like the limit ... at least until the game is really awesome/rarely seen been given away then I'd join despite the low odds.
