I think a lot of us wouldn't mind the back-BLing, because rule-breakers are not usually generous with gifts, otherwise because if you blacklist someone, you probably don't want to deal with them in any way.
The amount of " why did you blacklist me" topics and messages would be skyrocketing, though.

The easiest way to impelement theses changes I feel would be to just make blacklisting a two-way thing so you can't enter other people's giveaways if they're on your blacklist. I think this would remove the petty blacklists since the small-minded often also are the greedy ones.

Since users are giving away games which they've often bought with their own money it's well within their right to choose who they want to enter it. You should have as much control of your own giveaways as possible which is made a lot more convenient with blacklists as most people find that there are toxic users even on a great site such as this one. It should be left to the giveaway maker and him/her alone who they feel worthy getting their free games. If you feel like you're being treated unfair you can always buy the game(s) for yourself and just be happy that there's such a generous community willingly donating games to other gamers. I think this site is amazing and it is in no need of witch hunts of the people who help it remain active.

"Since users are giving away games which they've often bought with their own money it's well within their right to choose who they want to enter it" this is why this would be a good feature, i don't want ppl in my giveaway, who wouldn't let me in theirs.

I kind of see your point, though I personally have seen perhaps one person from my blacklist of over 250 users make a giveaway in the last 2-3 months. I don't want any sort of interaction with people I've blacklisted and I think a lot of other people feel the same way. Also see my other comment.

That would create so much drama, I'd rather have 100 sexuality threads than that. I may be exaggerating.
A mutual blacklist feature, (if you blacklist someone, you cant enter their giveaways) might be cool, but being able to see who blacklisted us would only create drama, I don't really see how it would be constructive or helpful in anything except a petty blacklist back.

that would be nice too. (i dont mean the mutual blacklist.)

I wouldn't want someone blacklisting me to be prevented from entering my giveaways. If I personally have nothing against someone, they are free to join. I find revenge blacklisting to be petty.
Plus, this would stifle the more creative uses of the blacklist I've seen. I've seen people blacklist others as part of an event (a series of giveaways made but you can only enter one then you get blacklisted) and remove them afterwards. Should someone be prevented from entering my giveaways for doing something fun?

Yeah, It cause more problems than solves. I, and some other people feel that if we blacklist someone, we shouldn't enter their giveaways and don't want to do so accidentally.
However, I too don't want people who blacklist me to be excluded from my giveaways. Maybe make it a choice to be added to their blacklist when you blacklist someone? My suggestion wouldn't even work, the website automatically adding people to your blacklist would be pretty crappy.
I guess I just wan't a filter to exclude giveaways of people I blacklisted. There's probably a script for that that I could get, I'm going to go search for it.

Personally, I use this script to keep track of people in my blacklist/whitelist.

I just blacklisted you. Then I removed you because I have no actual reason to blacklist you.
Now you've been told. You can cross that one off the checklist.

but but i dont like that.... i'm a good guy... i'll keep my blacklist clean for a long time xD only ppl here i felt like blacklisting was a guy who created a topic about being able to choose ppl who would do ga's with steam gifts instead keys as it seemed he would regift or trade but he was a 1 week member so i didnt mind him as many ppl told him to read faq and that regifting and trading wins isnt allowed

Granted I would like to know who blacklisted me so I could resolve it, but it wouldn't be worth the drama.

I have blacklisted you. You are free to blacklist me, like I care about it anyway.
