Simple, don't buy it if you don't want it.
I actually saw a interesting web comic a year ago, which I wish I still had. Its quite suitable for this topic. It has some old school gamers talking about how bad games are getting. Then someone points out that just because they aren't what we enjoy doesn't making them bad. They have their own fan base who love the games. They are happy, why **** on them for that?

The problem is, you see it as a problem that others like something that you don't.
An example is the Call of Duty and Battlefield games. Horrible titles in my opinion, with a short and crappy story, and a massive focus on multiplayer, which I hate. Should they stop being made? No. They have plenty of people who love them, are perfectly happy with the games they get. That is the point I'm trying to make.

Do you really care about what other people buy and how much money EA earns? It wont really affect you unless you work in a gaming company or something related to that... Play what you like and that's it! There will always be people who like EA games, Valve games, Ubisoft games, etc, that will never change.

to be fair, they are the pain in the *ss, but they still be the one release & own so many best studio, game tittle in the world... And true , some questionable policy about DRM, DLC, ...but that seem to be the trend in the world right now, not just EA do that

There are alot of good EA games, they might not be for everybody but they do have massive fan bases, so clearly there is somebody that likes them.
This thread is stupid, people that hate EA and Origin is just jumping on the bandwagoon or beeing selfish, and belives that since they dont like the game, nobody else should either.
If you dont like it, dont buy it.
If you dont like how they are doing the distribution/sales/marketing, dont buy it either.

First of all, I don't think EA customers are "tasteless". In fact, no customers are tasteless. They buy what they want and no one else has the right to complain about that. EA are prone to making unpolished products, but I'm fairly certain that doesn't have anything to do with their customers. I'm annoyed I bought Battlefield 4 and it's buggy as hell, but I don't blame the customers for buying the game because they're in the same position as me.
I don't see why anyone would bash a company AND blame their customers for buying their games. Did they force you to buy anything? Nope.

Simply because this is one of the best videos out there.
This of course is open for discussion.
I wonder, what does Steamgifts think about tasteless customers who feed money in the the apparatus that breaks games?
What can be done? Independant review platform perhaps? How else are we to force products to be properly polished?
