If its more that a day old, I won't generally attempt to use the key anyways. And if I do, and get the result Key: xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx | Status: No Detail | Items: [?????, whatever], then I do actually thank the poster, regardless of its age. Indicating that its been taken though, tends to be for something that is at most 1 day old. (I tend to stay on the most recent page of the thread, which seems to be consumed at one-two pages per day.
