What are your top five RPG games?

Hmm noone mentioned Baldurs Gate yet. I don't even wanna think about how many hours i played it(both 1 & 2). I even liked it so much i bought several copies. Back when there were boxes and manuals and stuff like that hehe

1. Diablo 2
2. Titan Quest
3. Heretic 2
4. Dragon Age: Origins
5. Path of Exile

Ohh my, so so many.... Well I'm finding it hard to choose my number 1, number 2 and so on, so here they are in no particular order:

The elder scrolls series.
Fable series. (I haven't played the second. The first was my favorite)
Fallout series.
Never winter night series.
Evernum saga.

I very tentatively give Final Fantasy a consolation place as a small sixth, but only up to and including Final Fantasy VII. Everything after that... well, let's not get into that. :P

3. Marvel Ultimate Alliance/X Men Legends
4. Magicka (This is an RPG, right?)
5. WoW

Don't play a lot of RPGs, but I love dat action RPG

1. Morrowind
2. Baldurs Gate 2: Shadows of Amn

5. The Witcher 2

I don't think it's fair that people say TES series because I bet you 95% of them have not played Arena or Daggerfall, and probably not Morrowind either, but here's my list:

Those would be my top 5, but here are some other great titles: Diablo II, Okami, Deus Ex, STALKER series (not sure if that counts as rpg...), Half Life series, and Dragon Age: Origins

I'll be a little bit particular.

Best RPG experience in Role-Playing sense is certainly THIEF series. I'll put it above all the others. But as to actual RPGS...

1. Stonekeep.
2. Planescape:Torment.
3. Prophesy of Pendor (Mount and Blade).
4. Throne of Bhaal (BG2) + Durlag's Tower(BG:Tales of the Swordcoast).
5. Witcher 2 (chapter 2).

Honorable mention: Shivering Isles (Oblivion), Dark heart of Ukruul, Wizardry 7, Skyrim (best Elder Scrolls gameplay, but I haven't finished it yet to put it on the list).

RPGS or jRPGS like Final Fantasy and the like? Very different genres. If I had to go with "Both" here are mine:

5. Xenoblade Chronicles

Hard to chose, and there are plenty of others I'd feel comfortable swapping in or out of the list. My favorite genre, for sure :)

Darksiders , Darksiders 2 , Final fantasy 1-6 ( everything after that ruined the series for me tbh) . I dont play that much rpgs when I think about it .

You kids and your newfangled playthings need to learn a REAL RPG.
1: FFVII - es the best, I always win
2: CHRONO TRIGGER - es also the best, but not mordekaizer
3: FFIII/FFVI - still not mordekaizer
4: DRAGON WARRIOR - classic, but not always against mordekaizer
5: ANY TALES GAME BESIDES DAWN OF THE NEW WORLD - Seriously, not dawn of the new world. Never again.
Honorable mention is earthbound, but still not worth the price.(just emulate it already)
