a lot of things that don't need to be done - and a few things
that have to be done of which some save time/money and keep me updated
but considering the question - you're 12 -18 you'll
find out yourself soon enough by getting by yourself

We're talking about using internet. I'm aware that there are people who run away from the reality, but in this days it's practically impossible to avoid using internet. Even when you pay taxes or go to the doctor. You just have to use it. But once again, it's not about that.

I work for an educational software company, and our program is web based. Just like you I spend a lot of time being productive on the internet.

I study about how crappy this laptop is, oh how crappy it is; it is so bad that I went through time and space.
Comment has been collapsed.
can you please stop, idk what you did to ruin the performance of a laptop that I said was good for it's price, at $500 it is prob the best your gonna get, and you did mention you've dropped it many times, and you removed "bloatware" that bloatware might of actually been essential to the laptop and anything you looked up that said otherwise was probably wrong, mine is still running great, and its 2 years older than yours. GTA V has even been stated to run good only low-medium settings on intel HD 4000. Im sorry if im coming a little forward on this but I am tired of seeing this in my little comment box over and over again, and it is starting to irritate me :P

And here's my specs:
Intel Dual Core T5300 (2x1.73GHz)
3 GB RAM (until 2014 there was 1 GB)
120 GB Harddrive
12.1" 1280x800
Win 8.1 Pro (until 2014 there was Vista, just from factory, didn't changed for 9 years)
And the best part, Intel GMA 950, thich must play a role of video acceletator. I can't call this a video accelerator
Ok, don't take my words serious about like my notebook beaten yours, i'm just fooling around, i'm bored
Also, wanna say i wish i had your laptop :c Actually, everything is better than mine

Haha lol XD. Is this your main computer? Because I am pretty sure most of those 158 games you have aren't going to run on it XD.

Yes, unfortunately that's my only, and i can't afford atm a new one (especially when taking in attention unstable currency and very high prices in Ukraine).
About games: right now i'm kinda collecting games, because one day, when i will manage to get new pc or notebook, I WILL play all these great games!

Now this, is where you are very wrong.
You see, one of the things you did was go into the Intel graphics settings and set it to best performance, what this does it significantly decrease graphical quality. So playing on low-mid settings, isn't really playing low-mid settings. It is a great laptop for the price, and even has a spill-proof keyboard with a fingerprint reader. But in the end it is a Business laptop, made for work, not for gaming. But in the end, your "low-mid", isn't really low-mid. The same goes with Skyrim, with the settings set to highest performance running on the highest settings will grant me in reality low- low medium settings.
And I apologize for spamming you, I was just jokin' around, I once again am sorry for irritating you. But it really is a great work laptop, great processor, nice screen, spill-proof keyboard, good battery life, it's a great laptop. But it simply will not put out enough to be ready for gaming.
Though I still do see your point illogical.

Do you have a Tumblr or something similar? Just curios, I follow a lot of artist, webcomics and such.

Pay Per Download (PPD) sites. That's where I earn up to $200 (Actually more than $200 on season events, also see that it's UP TO that means I can get less, I can't get enough for a living so don't expect living with the internet.) per month.
Of course that takes quite a while of work to do. Specially at the beginning :/
Can't tell which sites I'm in since that would kinda be advertising I guess.

It's legit in a way, atleast what I do is legit.
I just do basic coding and that's it.
As said to Angrygamer, you must spend a bit of cash though, but that's just for the hosting & domain.
You can also do it without it, like I did at first, but only got like $10-$20 monthly AT BEST.

It is not agains't the rules to state the site's, as long as they are not refferal links.
I use Swagbucks and make $5 a month, so sad ;;((
But please, go ahead and list the site. If not, then please accept my friend request.

I use two sites.
DreamCash for the download hosting
ShareCash for the content locking (Although I don't use ShareCash anymore)
Both paying with PayPal I guess, only using DreamCash at the moment and it does, can't tell if ShareCash still does.
Just saying that you also need to spend a bit of money, since what I do needs a hosting and domain, which I can get it for $4-6 a month depending on what I want.
Accepted the invitation anyways, I can give you tips, can't share exactly the info since it's kind of saturated method though.
Also $5 a month is not that bad, extra cash is always welcome to me hehe

I learn accident avoidance techniques from Russians. Sometimes, turning your car into a plane is the only option.

I'd say looking for a job, but since I still don't have one, its not really productive.

Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Yes, it is possible, although slightly uncommon on most of the internet. It's like asking if someone does anything productive when in a movie theater; Not really, since going to the movies is a pastime, mostly. However, some will tell you they watched an informative documentary which taught them a few things about, let's say, wildlife.
The internet is a great place to do productive things... Heck, it's one of the greatest source of knowledge accessible to us. Although the internet is often misused, if you want to achieve some great things, it can definitely help you with that. Lots of people live off their work on the internet alone. If you're willing to actually try, you'll soon realize how much more you can do than just sit around Reddit reading greentexts, staring at cute cats on Imgur, watching porn, and barfing over 4chan.
However, lots of users of the internet are here exactly for that sort of thing. The internet is above all a main source of entertainment for people around the world, so of course, there are less productive people on the internet than productive ones.

Isn't that long. :P
[Edit] Oh, and I'm a loser with no determination to achieve crap, so... Yeah.

That's the worse of it, I'm not determined to waste my time, but I'm wasting it anyways. My life is an awful scumbag. :(

I can name at least your group on Steam :) Makes me feel confident that I didn't miss any free (or partly free) stuff. Thank you for organizing it.

Sure, the internet is an amazing resource for learning. I use it to keep up with current news and to learn coding. Creating my website into something spectacular and worthwhile.

It blew my mind in ways I thought weren't possible. Suscribed to the newsletter then made 146 more mails and suscribed again with those.
But really, I subbed, don't dissapoint me!

In a serious answer, it depends on what your definition of productive is. For me, I put job applications in & enjoy my hobby- video gaming. It's my only source of entertainment. It's also the place where I make all of my friends. If I do what I want to be doing with my time, I say it's productive.

A friend tried to get me into it, but I got only to the downloading it part.

xD Yeah it's a huge download. It took me forever to download it on my laptop when I was using it for gaming. God that sucked. I've been playing it for 4 years.

Just checked, it weights around 4.3gb. You have really crappy internet.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeeaaahhhh, I did. I had shitty internet up until I moved. At my new place, it's really nice. it took me 5 hours to download 60GB (from GTA V) It's so much better. The internet speed at my old place always made me wanna murder people more.

I think I speak for most when I say internet is a place where we live, not just a place where we ocasionally go to have some fun.

I'm creating a site. That made me spend all this week plugged to screens. Literally I spent 90% of the entire week on internet [excluding sleeping, cooking very few, eating and walking very few] still here at 1am, less than6:30h to sleep. Leaving or I'm gonna explode.
