As usual, i agree with you 100% :) Actually, one of them used to be my best friend for 20 long and beautiful years. I miss her dearly, but I think I'm almost ready to adopt a kitten again.

This day I'm fearing beyond words. The day I will have to let go of mine. The horror! Thankfully, if some higher power allows, there will be many more years ahead of the three of us, as my two ladies who give me company and affection are still quite young (6 and 5 years old, mother and daughter, my little "family").
You sound just lke you had the same great time with your friend, PossiblePsycho. They will never be forgotten, right?! And still I wish you to find a new friend for the soul real soon <3

I hope you'll be as lucky as I've been, and it'll be ages before your ladies leave you; they are young, and it's not something you should be thinking about already. My girl used to run like crazy and climb curtains up to the ceiling right until she had her first stroke, and that happened when she was 18; you love and take care of them, and such things always increase life expectancy considerably :)
And thank you for your kind words! I somehow expect that my new friend will find me herself (or maybe himself, who knows?), there are a lot of homeless cats here (my sister's cat just came to her in the street and literally asked to take him with her)), and social networks are full of post with cats looking for new homes.

Having the right space and environment for them to live is far more important than money (mine share one or two 100 gr packages a day, depending on their appetite, and some dry food, and hunt themselves their own healthy fresh meat for the rest of their needs). Spending some time with the lovlies is essential though for forging the bond.

A cute bunny , you wont realise what a great companion a bunny is unless you adopt and take care of one

Yep, that is a big issue with rats. About 3 years of life, but i already used to it.

Ferrets are cool, my friend had them.
Also, as with rats, you will learn not to throw you things all over house.
Everything has to be in places and LOCKED!

Capybaras!
Alright, so in the end, it depends on you and how much time you have. Rats are quite forgiving pets to have, as long as you have two or more and you give them a nice cage and things to play with, plus they bond really quickly with their owner if you treat them well (i.e. bribe them).

And if you aren't giving treats, they will take it! Last time little rascals tried to fetch a piece of cheesecake from my plate, while i was away to make some tea. Well, to be fair they was already on a way to the cage with it when i showed up.

When I was younger I had two rats. Above their cage there was a shelf with some treats that they liked in a small jar. The little buggers figured out the locking mechanism for their cage, got out, tipped down the jar so that the treats fell into the cage, and then went back home to feats. They did not want to escape, they just wanted treats After that we had to put a padlock on the cage so that they would not get out again.

I had locks for both doors on cage. First door, vertical, they open simply by hanging on it. Second one, horizontal, on the top of cage, they open by standing up on feet and forcing it up with front legs... very clever animals.

Yesterday i won a Ryse: Son of Rome GA, and today a friend of mine gifted me some Monthly Bundle keys!
One of those, surprisingly, was Ryse: Son of Rome, which i want to give to this great community.
IMPORTANT - HB says it cant be activated in RU/CIS
In order to enter GA (lvl 5+) you have to solve this ridiculously hard puzzle
Please, tell me your opinion on best pets to have :)
If you know good steam backgrounds and badges with rats, share your knowledge!
