I've had dogs, fish, turtles, birds, hamsters and cats.
Even though I appreciate all of them, my favorite are cats. They are self-sufficient, kind, funny and have just the right level of attitude and character :)

None. I find it stupid to have pets. I like animals, but I like them outdoors in their natural environment.
My recommendation, buy any Nintendo console and buy any Pokemon game. Thus you will have pets and they will require zero to no maintenance.

Quokka is the best animal to have. It's cute, it's small, herbivorous and always looking like smiling.

IMO, though i like pets, its best to have none. If you feel the need for some love, just walk your neighbor dog once in a while.

I have a German shepherd, a tabby, hedgehogs, bats, shrews, chickens, an English rooster and pheasants. ^^
I don't have rats but I do know some proverbial ones! :3

I have a large and enclosed garden where they can roam free and the bats are hanging from the beams at the rear of my wood shed. And I forgot about the fish, frogs, toads and salamanders in and around my pond.

Yesterday i won a Ryse: Son of Rome GA, and today a friend of mine gifted me some Monthly Bundle keys!
One of those, surprisingly, was Ryse: Son of Rome, which i want to give to this great community.
IMPORTANT - HB says it cant be activated in RU/CIS
In order to enter GA (lvl 5+) you have to solve this ridiculously hard puzzle
