Well, I had nearly given up, but while closing the windows I had opened to do the crossword I had a last second idea. By the looks of it, I was the first entry on the giveaways (The ones that I don't already own at least). Thanks for the fun, it was quite enjoyable =)

Yeah, I saw it played in a live stream a few months ago for the first time and I WL'ed it right away. I haven't played it personally, but from what I've seen, even if it's a bit short, it's still worth the price.

If I draw lines through the words, it kind of looks like shapes are formed, but I'm not seeing anything that makes sense.

I found all words too. I've tried to exclude letters from bottom in intersections. (There are 35 letters on intersections and 40 overall in bottom words). But nothing worked. Am I supposed to see some graphical thing, like painting of something with lines?

The whole intersection idea is overkill, you're way overthinking it.
You're on the right track with the graphical thing idea instead. Remember that the puzzle has a main theme and whatever you're supposed to see is consistent with that theme.
