What's the main component of potatoes?
Any puzzles that dumb dumbs like me can solve? I can't figure this out to save my life!

Completely lost as to what to do with the elements at the bottom of the puzzle. Maybe something will eventually click.

After 2 hours of trying to figure it I give up. I'm left with a shape that may or may not have something to do with a certain language but that's it. I don't understand what the elements at the bottom have to do with it all and I can't find any way to try and translate the shape. Good luck to everyone else!

Bump for solved! This is a brilliant puzzle, how long did you take to come up with this? I am amazed by how it's all put together. I was lost for a while until it was so clear as the big ball of hydrogen constantly burning and seemingly moving across the sky day by day. Thank you for such a fun puzzle!!!

Not much actually. The idea came to me one night, while in bed trying in vain to sleep (as most of my ideas do; yeah... sometimes I can tune out from thinking of all the shitty things I said/did during the day/my entire life and I manage to think of something more productive, kinda).
The original one I thought was much harder: the "thing you have to see" would have been upside-down, in a further step you'd have to deal with atomic numbers and the letters capitalization would have been more obscure to find out. But in the end I decided to make things more linear, considering I wasn't giving away anything worth that much time/effort.
The actual building of the grid required almost three hours, with a list of chemistry related words in front of me. Some words (i.e: ember, diode, etc.) aren't strictly chemistry related, but I had to make due. I'm satisfied with what came out in the end, maybe it's just a bit too easy, but I see most of the people who solved it enjoyed it, so I'm fine with that.

I wouldn't say it's too easy, it's just one of those that you either get it or you don't. I really appreciated the puzzle, and I thought you did a great job. I figured the grid wasn't easy to put together, that's where I think you did the most impressive work. :-)
