Random Thought concerning entering giveaways.

Hmm. That's a shame. I haven't come up with any flaws to this idea yet. This is my second attempt to offer a constructive way of bettering this website. Maybe it isn't a novel idea, but I think it's worth considering. I'm going to wait for a few more responses, but since it's already been talked about I'll likely close this soon.

wait i remember! because your points regenerate as giveaways are ceated, people could hoard into specific giveaways with more than 300 points. I think that was it

That's the point, isn't it? I dislike leaving 300 points in my account, but I don't want to spend them on just anything. The few games I know I'd love to play deserve those points. I can't see the downside of using your points in a raffle system.

I see the only downside people for people who want to win bunches of games and feel like they're at a disadvantage because they only put one entry into a game while someone else (and maybe many others) put in 10.

Everyone would have an equal chance of winning. You are given your points the same way everyone else is and how you allocate them should be at your discretion.

There's not a whole lot of games I want to immediately install and get to playing and I don't like the idea of putting points into games I'm less interested in. There are plenty of games I think "oh that might be fun" but there could be some people who are REALLY hankering to play that game. That's where this kind of raffle system would benefit.

Well, it shows number of entries already. So if you enter 3 times then its 3 outa X to win.

I can appreciate that opinion, but it's hypothetical that everyone would be pouring their points into the same high-demand games. I could see that being the case.
