Hey guys it's me Panikas!
Okay I got a thing that has me thinking.. I really like strategy games (like for years) and I wanna make a comeback to them, so I think I like the Endless Legend is a good game for me, and I've been thinking of getting it for quite some time. Right now there are two options (gotta decide in like 24hours though):
*Option A:
Steam has a -85% sale and includes some DLC's that seem to be pricey (done my research and DLCs don't usually get discounted) but it costs 10,49euros

*Option B:
Humble Bundle has a -75% sale on the basic game , and it costs 7,49euros but it humble bundle so I have a -10% off cause I am a monthly subscriber and have the option to get a 5% or give em to charity.

So I'm pretty confused and dunno what to pick (quite a dillema ha?)
Feel free to commend and help! Thank youu!

Thank you for you replies people here is a giveaway :) Giveaway 1+

I have Endless Legend and Space but the game never grabbed me like Civ does. Hell I even like Thea the Awakening more than Endless Legend. That's one game I really wanted to like. T_T

I checked Thea and I think I'll get that one when on sale too :3

You should. It's not 4X in the traditional sense. More RPG like which I love. I'm actually afraid to play Thea since I called in sick for work once due to that game. I think not since Civ 5 I did that.

I gotta try the CIV too :3

I will recommend Thea as well, I'm hooked on that game right now (and probably will write a review on it, as I get to learn the game more).

But I am also looking closely at the Endless Legend collections, I am 99% sure that I will get one of them before the sale ends.

I have the Dungeon of the Endless games already but I've not yet played them.

I love that futuristic and minimalistic style of Endless Space. It's one thing the Civs failed IMO, the XCOM squad really isn't as Information-Age-like as they think.
Never played EL though, so I can't judge.

DLCs are often essential for strategy games. And Endless Legend benefits even more than others.

I can't guarantee that you will like EL. But if you do, I can assure you that you won't regret spending those additional 3€ for the DLC. ;)

If you buy the basic game and like it, you will probably want to buy the DLCs later but the steam offer will be over and you will spend even more money.

If the DLCs look interesting to you, go for the Steam sale.
If they just seem mediocre and dull, go for the HB sale.

Like you said - these DLCs are pricy and rarely go on sales, if you are really intrested in the game you're likelly to pay way more than a difference in price right now just to get them. And these are not just some cosmetic DLCs - these are as well well received expansions that give quite a lot of gameplay elements. If you are really intrested in game and like the genre like it seems from your OP adding extra 33% for complete and better experience seems like the way to go ;)

Just keep trying, I managed to get 94% discount after like 50 tries. Got Intake and Endless Legend for $2.4

/edit: Just avoid the 1st boss until he does like 5 attacks and additional mobs spawn, then kill him. Try to hit every zombie as soon as it spawns in the next room. On 2nd boss, dash to lower right corner immediately, then upper left corner, then kill the boss that just spawned.

I'll go for the Endless Grand Master Edition :D Dungeons of the Endless looks like it might be just my kind of game and Endless Legend seems very interesting as well.

have the option to get a 5% or give em to charity.

Since Valve/Gaben is greedy as hell, would say the charity is worth it ;)

Amplitude seems to have a pretty poor policy for sales on DLCs, so you'll pay far more in the end if you skip out on them now. Moreover, for 4x games reliant on them, DLCs tend to be fairly critical in fleshing out gameplay and balance. Warlock, Fallen Enchantress, any recent Civilization game..
I don't own EL, so I can't say first-hand- but from what I've heard by those familiar with it, the DLCs are as critical to it as to any of those other games.

I also was curious about Endless Legends. But after I bought it I never really got in to the mood of it. Guess it's just me, cause I'm more of an RTS fanboy in general and the only 4X game I'm liking is Civilization so far. :/

Check the DLCs reviews, if they seem that you will enjoy it then buy it on Steam, either way it's not much of a difference, 3 euros for DLCs yes or no? :D
