Almost everytime when i participate i giveway. The person who won the game has 20-30 and higher number of winnings. How is that possible?

Won 3 games in... 2 years I've been around. And the third one I actually won it today lol (was the early christmas GA by timothy). Entered about 731 GAs, and the number is low because I really only enter GAs I want, and not random ones "just because"... it does reduce my chance of winning anything but... I really dont care about winning "anything". Every GA I enter, I prefer its something I know I'll play or that got me interested enough to wish for and try out; or some game I simply cannot afford... and not some random game I dont even know/care about.
I've given away only 7 games so far, and I wish I could give more and better games. Sadly, with my wallet being so tight/empty now due to reasons... this is kind of hard, really hard to do.
Being part of groups is already a good step towards better winning chances. Plus, you get to meet nice people too :) (I've entered GAs where I didn't win, but gained friends and even got recommended other games and books!)
Getting people to know you also helps. Reading what the Gifters sometimes write on the GA's description ALSO helps a lot. Rather than a dull and generic "thank you". I admit sometimes I don't thank the gifter unless they say something... in fear they might think I'm just a bot or scripted "thanks" :c I'd like to reassure gifters that I only enter GAs I'm interested in.
