Steam Sale Defaulting System/Early Buyer

You win some you lose some..... unfortunate, but thats how it is. Wait til the last day from what everyone says.

Too bad, there are tons of warnings by users NOT to buy right away.

Nature of the beast, man. Stick with daily/flash/community deals until the last day and then buy whatever else you want. It has been this way ever since Steam started doing these big sales. :/

It's not a bad idea, but I think you'll be better off suggesting it to Steam. Not that I think they'd do anything about it. It's part of how their sales always work, and making this mistake once or twice you'll learn to wait for daily (or in the sale flash) deals.

1st rule of steam sale buy a game thats on daily deal or flash sale if its not buy it on last day of the sale

So you shouldnt feel riped off its just a proof that you are stupid to complain about own mistakes

I highly doubt you will find any sympathy from the forums it's the risk we all take, do I buy it and know that I have saved 50% or do I wait and hope that it comes for 75% which may or may not happen.

You have given nearly double the money to the developers of these amazing games than you otherwise would have, had you bought them off daily deals; and I think that's admirable. Kudos to you, sir.

sales a sale like they say you win some you lose some. the price had to be good for you if you bought it in the first place so if it gets discounted again than its just bad timing. itll be cool getting credit back if the price drops but just seems unlikely.

Always wait until the last day of a Steam sale.

The point wasn't that I bought the games before they went on full sale, It was that they should implement a system with the Steam Wallet for that.

Your fault. This is how Steam makes money - by waiting for people to spend money when the don't need to.

this is just silly. everyone knows that you dont rush into buying hoping to get a good deal. its a trade-off, and always has been: do i want it NOW, or do i want the best deal.

I only buy games that are on daily deals or flash sales or community sales. The rest of the games you can buy in the last day if they don't come on sale before that. You should be smart about things like this. Why buy a game now when the discount is till 23rd and there is a possibility of the game coming on sales? Surely you can wait for a while.
