Geralt laughs at the face of his enemies. :B Most easy win ever.

Civilization is without doubt the 5-more-minute reward. Be sure to watch the clock when playing.
I probably should go for GTA5 this time (though already owned it)

think i'm more disappointed with the finalists in this category than any other, though am saddened by all of them
Phantom Pain because Kojima can mindfuck the most resolute (though i've not played it)(and i recognize that the story is the weakest part of PP but none of the others made me say Woah, though i only played GTA and BioShock)

GTA V is a tech wonderfest that blows my mind the more i learn about its engine..

This category description is extremely vague. As I understand it, the games nominated here are supposed to have either some shock factor or some WTF factor. To simply be "awesome" or "epic" is not enough here.
I personally thought Saints Row The Third (or IV) would've been a nice fit here. Or even games like Rock of Ages.
The 5 nominees, on the other hand... are mostly great games but definitely not of the "whoooaaa, dude" kind. They're too... normal for that imo.
PS: I'll vote for Doom just to get the card. :)

Yep, my exact thought as well. Although I think Bioshock Infinite does have a pretty mind-screwy story and some surprising plot-twists(I think? Been a while) so I think that one fits. The others, I think people are "shocked" by how great the games are but I don't really think they're relevant to the award as I understood it?

And it's another day where I just vote for the card. I haven't played any of those and I wouldn't know where or if they have any (quote category description) "crazy plot twists", but especially with Doom, I have serious doubts there's much plot at all. :-P
