None of these games come to my mind when I think of "mind-blowing" (except maybe MGSV, which I haven't played, but which I voted for considering the series' history). Where are games like Undertale and Her Story?

I voted for mgsv. Most of the games in that list, some of which i loved (im a huge fan of the witcher series, and loved W3), didnt have any really standout wow moments.. bioshock kinda did, but ultimately I felt like nothing in that list topped a flaming sky whale.

oh, SOMA, definitely. one of the only games to take me completely off-guard with its amazing plot twists (especially the reveal that scuba!simon is still talking as deepsea!simon stands up. the definitive "whoa dude!" game for me, and im so glad it was nominated--

....oh, you mean it wasnt? instead games that are just lots of action and flashy-flashes are what's considered to be "whoa dude!" material?

I have all 5 of these games and would have to choose The Witcher 3.
The story of TW3 just blew me away, just like it's amazingly good looking, big open world and all the side quests :O

still wishing I could someday get the expansion pass :3
