Cross Region Buy?

Hello,

IDK if you noticed but Moorhuhn: Tiger and Chicken store page offers cross region subs to buy. With "Enhanced Steam" subs are 51016 for RU/CIS, 51015 for NA/ROW and 50495 for EU. Strange enough, cross region sub prices are same for one region...

So let me ask, do you think this is an error? Or first of a kind cross region buy options from Steam that will include other games in the future? What do you think?

P.S: I've not tried if this really works or not. If anyone tries to buy please post your results here, thanks.

Every gift purchased in Steam store in "low-priced" regions is region-locked now. It does not matter which SubID you purchase, the activation lock is applied automatically based on your region.

Interesting... I have no idea. Will keep an eye here to see what other people say.

EDIT: In fact, when trying to put the NA ROW in the card and purchasing it as gift, I get:

Notice: Gift purchases for Moorhuhn - Tiger and Chicken NA ROW can only be added to the gift recipient's library if they are in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Bahamas, Belize, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Paraguay, Suriname, El Salvador, Uruguay and Venezuela.

Now, the question is... Is this a default message and the gift will be in fact ROW?

Everything purchases in region locked areas is locked, even if ROW sub.

It will end up in error.

Prices are same because they didn't modify default prices.
