Eh, what the hell… PMing here works like you writing something to an old giveaway the other made since nobody ever looks at those topics. Drop me a message in some ancient (3 month old or older) GA of mine and your patience will award one of the few non-VN (although still narrative-heavy games) from that wishlist. Groups, puzzles and getting on people's wishlist certainly improves the chances.
The fewer the entries the larger the chance. But still, there's always chance involved... I try to think like Edeuelmago wrote as well. Don't think about winning when you're entering and then a win just arrive some day... ^^

I usually win partecipating in a lot of Invite only giveaways.
Maybe there isn't your kind of wishlist games but it's something.
But after winning the only thing i think about is the ratio....

Well.. I don't know my ratio now or before, but could be fun tosee it. If you see my profile, one week ago I was lvl 1 with 2 games sent aprox and 15 winnings and I've been here for 2 months only. Now that I decided to level up its different but...
So I can tell you: its just lucky... I was not lucky enought to get copies from a lot of 1000x 2000x but got one on a ga with 1800 entries so... just lucky ^^ Which was my ratio when I was 15:1 ? 0.06??

I think some people have at least 6 Steam accounts. They create private giveaways, then just kick keys back and forth between them until they are level 10. Then they enter and win a AAA game, get found out, and that dummy account gets banned. Nevertheless, they've already pocketed a good game, and set up a new garbage account.
No proof, just conjecturing. Also, I realize that they could be caught earlier on, but that doesn't make it impossible that it could happen.

I've stumbled upon a few cases where it looks like people have tried to do that. They're all banned now. Getting to level 10 the "bad" way is quite hard, because if you've done a lot of giveaways to a small group, and none, or very few of them have been activated, that looks incredibly suspicious, and if you start winning expensive GAs, someone will check who the winner is if it's someone they don't recognize.

Yes, it can be a cock too, and yes, you can wear the bride's clothes instead. I don't judge, anyone is free to do whatever they want with their body. :B But for better results, there's my version. while other user is win ration is about 0.01-0.2
but several people got win ratio >0.5
