Get it. People play this everyday. And if you want the characters, go ahead. May be cash cows, but they're really cheap. You can get all of the DLC for 5 bucks if you so choose.

DLC's are just characters, it's how you look and most of the time you dont see your self because its in first person. And yes game is worth buying and playing, there are alot of servers and game is still very much alive.

Totally worth it, a lot of people play it. I would get 1 dlc that looks cool to you. Pretty much no one uses the default characters.

Yes and they still do holiday events all the time and release DLC all the time, it came out in 2009 but the devs are very active, they just released a patch that gave a new free level and a couple guns for free.

There still plenty of people that play and the game play is awesome. The DLC is kind of a waste of money though they're all just skins for your character but if you see one you like it's only 50 cents now.

Peak players today: 6,719.. Sounds like it's still played XD It's still getting sizeable updates - there was one for this summer sale with a bunch more guns.

DLCs are perfectly skippable, they're just skins, but grabbing any you like the look of is dirt cheap during a sale like this!
