Gotham city imposters: F2P NEED HELP!

Well I downloaded Gotham City Imposters Free to play last night as I've been wanting to play this game for ages but there's quite a major problem with this.
I can't find any matches.

I've tried every game mode, I even signed up and made a Warner Bros account but still can't find a match. It just counts down 0 and then it tries to find more games for another 60 seconds.

Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone else know what to do about it?

EDIT: Fixed now, may have just been super dead playerwise when I tried to play. I expected a ton of people as its just gone f2p

That's the biggest problem of GCI. It's lobby system is really slow and buggy. If you can't find a game, go back to the main menu, and try again.
Also, don't even try to find a game between midnight and 8 AM.

have you tried the steam forums at all? it -sounds- similar to the old GFWL problems, but those should be alleviated now.

I find a match every time takes like 20secs, lol probably the area your in. In california here in the usa i find a match with a full loby in less then 20-30secs.

Well I am from New Zealand so that's like 16 hours on a plane from where you are. Maybe it only matches you with people from your country. Maybe I'm the only one in New Zealand playing Gotham City Imposters at 11pm ;__;

Ah, I see now. So they abandoned the GFWL version of the game and relaunched it using Steamworks when going free-to-play. Gotcha.

almost all the content that was dlc for the original game, is unlockable ingame now. the old dlc is moot.

erm, I didnt get a key. it was all just there in my dlc inventory, I assumed that was stock, my bad.

You just have to use the CD key for your game pre-F2P in "Activate a Product on Steam" where you usually activate keys on.

I had the same problem, but i found the resolution. You need to have the F2P version in library alongside the previous one.

While the game is amusing (Few games have actually had me laughing my ass off) It doesn't feel... 'right' to me. Like something is off. Can't really put my finger on it either. It's still fun and funny though, and it sure is fun using the rollerskates!

Oh and I haven't really had a problem with matchmaking... my internet just decided to say 'FUCK YOU!' and turn off all day. Thank you comcast! :D

Finding no matches has always been an issue, sucks, I bought the game few months back, got few days of play out of it, and then it died down again, I'm hoping it going F2P revives it, such a fun game too :D

Matches are quick now, I am getting micro freezing though(Freezes for like 3 seconds every once in a while.), might be lag because its crowded.

Don't worry, as several other users are also having this problem. The lobby/matchmaking system is broken!
