So the story begins like this....

I got two friends, both of them created a giveaway and both of them received only a single entry in them. My first friend (alongwith the one who entered giveaway) got banned and the second one is still here creating more giveaways....

So is it a rule that if our giveaway gets only one entry we will get banned ?

If your giveaway gets only one entry, and the winner does not activate it while marking it as Received, both sides will be suspended for the suspicion of feedback fraud.

I just found a loophole, what if they'll just create a giveaway and mark as received for a game they had before that? would be there anyway to detect something like that? I know there's synching but the person can make his profile private or enter before a synch.

Possible. But most of the time things such as playtime etc. give them away. If there's room for suspicion, we can always suspend them and ask for proof that they gave it to the winner.

What if A person gives to B for the proof then B gives back to A?

We'll ask for transaction history then. It has dates of all the games you activated on your account.

But doesn't CV get higher unless there's a specific ammount of people that enter the giveaway? Heard that 1 person doesn't give any CV

A person can ask 2 friends for that, not huge difference.

The effect on CV doesn't make a difference. The Feedback Fraud offense is not for trying to trick the system to get higher CV, but for trying to trick the system to get Received marks. The giveaways that have relatively small number of entries fall into this category, if the winner marked the giveaway as received while not having it in his account.

Did the winner activate the game on his library?

Not speaking of your friends, but for some reason these questions make me think of an inept criminal asking "OK Mr. Policeman, you caught me, what do I need to change to get away with it next time?" :)

Heh, can't say that I disagree. It's never a good idea to fool the system though. Even if you avoid detection by staff, people will know and add you to their blacklists.

I read somewhere in the FAQ " Giveawways with 1 entry are seen as a gift to someone and dont count as a giveaway --> no CV"
