also which games are you planning to buy? I currently have 16 euros and im wondering if it'll be enough for game of thrones.. and if i should buy it orr buy some not so expensive games such as max payne 3 and some indies or similiar.. BTW, the scale is:
10-20
20-30
30-50
and then 100+

I am registered since february so it will be my first... Depends on what is on sale and how cheap it is otherwise... Meh.
Can somebody convince that this is something to wait for?

well expect most of the games to be discounted for like 50% or less or more no one knows.. last time the AAA games were -75% and there were flash sales and daily ones that change each day and are for really low price

The general gist of it: most games will be on sale for one discount the entire length of the sale, with the exception of Daily/Flash/Community Choice sales. So, you shouldn't really buy anything unless its one of those sales, or unless its the last day. Plus, a number of the best Daily/Flash/Community Choice sales are repeated on the final day of the sale. So, if it's just on sale, but not a special, don't buy it until the last day.

It basically says, if the game you want is discounted wait if you get a chance to get it discounted even lower, which happens during occasions mentioned in the chain on the chart, otherwise, if you really really want it and it doesn't get a deeper discount you can still get it on the sale's last day (when you can be sure that it won't be sold cheaper).

Edit: Aaah, Sisyphus beat me to it.

I don't expect to spend cash on myself unless there's a real bargain for a game I really want. I'll probably end up buying like 15-20€ worth of games to give away though.

Those publisher's sales + random other sales that they made, killed my attempts in keeping some money for the summer sale ._.
But then again, the whole idea of a sale is to get the games that you want for a lower price. So, yeah..

I have no idea. It depends on which games get good sales and how much I want those. Not much though.

I was saving for Broken Sword 5, because it seemed plausible to go at least -75% but, HEY! Thanks, Humble Bundle :D

So, I don't know.. maybe Skyrim Legendary Edition (if it drops under -66%) or Joe Dever's Lone Wolf, but I don't think it will get a huge discount..
I'll just hope there will be nice deals :)

if i recall correct, most of the games if not all of them were discounted? idk might be misstaken, but no matter which game i checked last summer it was discounted:D

Yes, but I don't plan to buy anything with a smaller discount than 75%.
I mean, I already have many games that I still have to play, there's no need for me to buy others if the deal is not veeery good. I'm not even working, money's needed to cover other expenses =P

I'll probably have about $10 in Steam cash saved up, with upwards of another $10 budgeted, if I find a great deal. But honestly, I've got enough games right now that I don't really need to bother with anything unless its in a bundle or it's a fantastic deal (+75% off). I suppose I might not be able to resist a great discount on Shadows of Mordor or a decent discount on GTA V (say -25%).

Yup, ready with an astonishing 9000 HUF (32 USD or 29 EUR) on my bank account, and 9,15 EUR on my Steam Wallet. Plus someone owes me a few euros, so I'm prepared :D
MY BODY IS READY! (as the picture would say, somebody will probably link it though)

Jk yeah though it sucks. I might just not pay my internet next month and then just invest the extra cash into Summer Sales since I can just go to a Wifi spot or something to browse sales

Edit: I can also cut back on food. . . I mean when you got video games who needs to eat? /s

The only game I want right now is GTAV, but I already paid for it in ps3 and I don't feel like paying full price twice for the same game, so I'm hopeful it'll get a discount! Also, I don't have enough to spend on games :x

I got most of the games I was interested in from the Humble store. There are about 2 euros in my steam wallet and I won't be adding more. No more money for Valve from me.
