I have registered with my Radeon 4670 graphics card, but its still showing that I am a silver member, ergo can't enter the draw.

To follow up: Hello,

Thank you for alerting us to this thread.

I have taken action against the accounts with those serial numbers registered.

We do appreciate it that members like yourself are helping fight against fraudulent registrations.

Newer cards ship with a SSC ID number that needs to be used when entering the serial number so this kind of guesswork no longer works.

Once again thank you for your time to bring this to our attention.

So they decided to ban legit buyers too? Weird, at least the support responded kinda quickly so that's a plus i guess?

Lol'd if they banned the whole 1116000-range. (sorry to those who actually own a card in the range)

What if you ask for your "real" number to be unbanned since you happen to own a 5850 and stumbled upon this thread?

Stupid to not request photo from the beginning for all cards that don't have a unique SSC ID's. I don't think I'm the first one who figured out that shit.

Probably too low of a chance to win anyway, won't bother checking my other card to register again if that range was indeed banned.

I think they changed the registration recently .
I read somewhere ( on the Sapphire site , I think - or an email from them ) that registrations of a third and subsequent card on an account require a photo of the cards / boxes .

The odds of winning aren't any worse than winning on Steamgifts .
I won Battlefield 3 in their last giveaway :)
