I took a lazier option and just made a separate steam account just for joining those groups. the same groups often come up in multiple giveaways anyway so it saves having to rejoin them too

Following wall of text is the short version:

• They're lazy asset flippers

• Most of their "games" are unfinished, barely functional messes, except for their Space Invaders clones.

• Speaking of the last, there's about 20 or so found on Greenlight and on the Steam store, spread across multiple sequels of multiple series.

• And guess what - those are all quick & dirty re-skins of Krog Wars. Note that the re-skins that come after also try to sell both camera angles as different games.

• Speaking of Greenlight - as some point they were submitting batches of those reskins large enough to push everything else off the front page.

• They censor negative comments where they can.

• They've been operating under different business names to try and hide their tracks (Which came back to bite them when they tried to use a name that already belonged to another company.

• They absolutely do not care about actually selling their games, as they start giving them away for "free" in bulk. This fuels the theory that they're just in it to skim money off the Steam Trading Cards sales.

• "Free" is in quotes in previous point, as their giveaways via gleam tend to spread reflinks like herpes

• "Free" is also in quotes because you end up handing over contact details without them providing any sort of privacy statement. So they create a legal grey area where they can sell off your private data to whoever. (So never use a real account for these giveaways.)

• They're probably also fishing for negative attention so they can try and gain money via defamation lawsuits. Which if Romine v. Stanton (aka DigiHom vs. Jim Sterling) is anything to go by, they're completely failing at.

• As icing on the cake, they're noted promotors of G2A - and not just by spamming their own reflinks there, but also by trying to actively shame anyone who has anything negative to say about grey markets.

I know, and that's why I'm annoyed.
