After my arena tournaments and the NHL giveaway I am planning the next event, but I am really not sure. The NHL had only a few participants and the arena had dropping participants, too,so I will do something smaller this time. Basically the idea is similiar to Snakes poker tournament, although there will be no poker. Groups will be able to sent a "champion" who will particpate for them. Winners will get a giveaway for their group.
What I want to know atm is more like a: Are you interested at all and what game should it be?
A) Dr. Dragos Madcap chase (original title: Die total verrückte Rally)
B) The Settlers of Catan (original title: Die Siedler von Catan)
Both games dont have a spectator mode,so it will be done like this:
A) The game doesnt have online multiplayer. You dont need anything to participate here. I will create it as a hotseat game for 8 players and ofc stream it. You will tell me your moves via chat. The game is simple and this really works for it cause 90% of the game is roll the dice and tell me where you want to move, the other 10% is "I want to use a special card". I will either participate for my own group or I shall be just a "ghost" doing nothing influencing the gameplay. Not sure atm. Depending on that 7 or 6 other groups will be allowed.
B) The Settlers will be played via a free online client. Its very small and simple. Depending on the interest of this event there can be a various number of participants. A game has a minimum of 3 players and a maximum of 6,so you need multiples of 3,4,5 participants (not 6 cause I will stream the games and will be there as a ghost player).
This is nothing fixed,I just want some opinions about the interest on this. I won't promise anything here.
