Help me get to level 10 [Solution]

Hi all! Thanks again to everyone who participated in this puzzle and congrats to those of you who solved it -- especially those who won the prizes! All of the prizes have been distributed and once everyone accepts their winnings I should be level 10. Hyyyype!

Anyhow, let's get on with the solution! First of all, all of the instructions were in the lyrics:

First of all, I'm afraid there was nothing to do with commenting my name inside the thread itself..

The name of the song Say My Name, other than the first instance was italicized. Why was this particular phrase being highlighted over and over again? Well it meant that you had to say my name: mecorx (and also spell it correctly...)

Okay, but where? Well, the next thing you had to do was look at all of the bolded single letters in the lyrics:

• First Verse: "d" and "o"
  " Second Verse: "i" and "t"
• Third Verse: "i" and "n"
• Fourth Verse: "a"
• Fifth Verse: "g", "i", "v", and "e"
• Sixth Verse: "a", "w", "a", and "y"
• Seventh Verse: "f", "o", and "r"
• Eigth Verse: "W", "h", "i", "t", and "e"
• Ninth Verse: "l", "i", "s", and "t"
• Tenth Verse: "i", "n", "v", "i", "t", and "e"

Put it all together and you've got: do it in a give away for white list invite. Meaning you had to comment "mecorx" in one of mecorx's giveaways. Simple enough, right? A lot of you got that much.

Then there were a few interim changes to make things harder i.e., appease my ego:

• Part way through the entry period, I raised the minimum entry level to 2 because there were some suspicious folks -- like one lhad iterally created their account a day ago. D: Also, the "already on the list from before" message was for people who were on my WL from ~4 years ago when I last did a puzzle like this.
• Fast forward to April 6, I got annoyed that everyone kept commenting in Zeno Clash and Beat Cop. C'mon guys, I have over 900 giveaways, why did everyone have to pick the ones on the very top?

So I updated the puzzle by bolding If no one is around you, meaning you had to follow all of my previous instructions inside one of my giveaways that nobody else had commented in previously. Actually, I also accepted comments in giveaways that did not have any other comments pertaining to the cirremt puzzle.

Whenever I was notified of a comment on one of my giveaways that contained "mecorx" , I would whitelist the owner of said comment (provided they met eligibility requirements). It was a manual process so sometimes it took a few hours for solvers to make it onto the WL, and other times I missed comments entirely (sorry), There was no limit to how many times you could try to find the right place to comment my name.

Now, if you spelled my name wrong you were not added to my WL. A lot of people misspell my name for some reason and frankly, it's annoying :|. Also, since the Steamgifts notification system does not send the thread/giveaway owner notifications for replies on other people's comments, so people who commented under someone else's comment were also not whitelisted as I had no way of knowing about these comments...

Anyway, there were a lot of people who thought they solved the puzzle but actually didn't so I was kind of puzzled! I'm curious to know what people tried.
