Steam had it lower (-82% complete pack) and GMG (50% + 20% coupon) too. Not to mention newegg ($0.99).

All within last week.

The complete pack doesn't count. But yeah, the pack was 20 cents more expensive than CSGO alone.

I guess it regional then, it was 1€ less than CS:GO alone for me.

it was a price bug.

edit: i should really read before writing. what the hell is wrong with me? anyway the complete pack was cheaper here too. i doubt it was regional.

If you've been eagerly waiting to play the game, why would you not spend the extra couple bucks to buy it?
The cheapest the game has gone on sale recently is ~5 USD from GMG with the coupon code.
Aside from that, everyone referring to the newegg deals and such, I don't know. That 'sale' had a very small time window and for the most part was illegitimate, I wonder if those who even purchased it received their keys.

CS:GO was at top sellers even at 33%, so Valve decided, why going beyond 50%.

Im fine with it having such price,if u rly want the game u will purchase it even on full value no matter how poor u are :D I personally own 2 accs with CSGO in them and I love the game ( and dont want it to go on huge sales cuz haxors will invade and ruin my life even more :D ( not like there are no hackers even if its on such small sales or even at full price, but trust me if it goes lower matchmaking will turn in children/troll/haxor hell and the game will be unplayable for ~ a week or two after the sale until everyone gets banned lmao ))

Weird, I saw it at $3.74 a few times during the past year on Steam (Daily Deal).

As. I. Said.

Daily. Deal.

As in, the normal every day deals, NOT on a seasonal/super sale.

Is a crap game anyway. who careS?

It's not a crap game, it just needs skill. I played it an got somewhat good at it (bit nowhere close to mastery) with a 1.5 K/D. I used to play Call of Duty (just look at my profile), and I can tell you, COD relies of a pinch of skill, but mostly luck and spraying. But in CS GO, it's the opposite, it 25% relies on luck and 75% skill. I would be lying if I said even a game like CS GO didn't rely on even a little bit of luck.

i got it for 2 euro.It was 75% off.
But after 470 hrs spend,i woud have payed double full price.

I'm pretty sure the reason why it hasn't gone over 50% off (alone, not in a pack) in recent time is to make sure people can't buy a ton of copies for cheap for then to cheat a whole lot. The only reason CSGO isn't free is because of said cheaters.

I got it on a sale a couple of months after it come out, I bought it with the complete pack, which was 75% off, so it cost me $7.49. The game was also for 75% off and cost $5, I wish I got that because I don't enjoy the other Counter Strike games very much.

I'm glad, last spring was 82%OFF and when that happens cheaters buy multiple copies so they can play with wallhacks and stuff.
So the more expensive CS:GO the better!

Yep. I'm happy as well. Lot of cheaters/boosters stacked game copies then. At it's full price the game is utterly cheap. I mean for a game that you will play for 400 hours or more, 10+ euros is a complete bargain.

I sincerely hope that if / when a new CS comes out, that it will come out with more content, (a handful of new weaps and a bunch of new maps) be around $20 - $30 at least, and never goes on sale. CS:GO is a cesspit of hackers and "smurfs" (which most of the time are hackers claiming they're smurfing). Out of 10 MM games, I luck out and have a game without hackers maybe 1 o 2 times. That shit needs to end, and the only way I see that happening is keeping the cost just too high for hacking shits to keep throwing money at. The newegg exploit for 99 cents alone means that for the next year at least, there'll be a huge boost in the number of hackers.

It is weird how I saw it went -75% once. Then only goes 25% and 50% off afterwards.
